A little outdated however just needed a place to stay. 2 bedroom apt was good size for the 4 people. The only complaint i have is with the Staff and getting back to you. We have left something behind and i have spoken to Reception now 3 times who have told me the Manager will get back to me and i am still waiting for a call. The voicemail doesn't actually let you leave a voicemail and also has Anzac hours ( except we are in Oct not April )

Cockroaches were crawling everywhere, The carpet was not vacuumed, and the room had bits of plastic and rubbish throughout. Dry body fluids were on the furniture—sticky floor tiles in the bathroom and kitchenette. (see some of the photos I have taken attached). I had to go and buy a can of fly spray and cleaning wipes it was that bad. I have taken a video before and when spraying as I would not believe a hotel can be this dirty if I did not see it for myself—thick dust on top of the small fridge, the tables and the benches. I was on the seventh floor in a western-facing room, so when I walked into the room, even in July, mid-winter in Queensland, it was over 28 degrees Celsius: full-length glass doors and windows with wide-open curtains. Turn on the air conditioning, and it ran all night at 16 degrees Celsius and still was not cold even by the morning. The air conditioning is in the main room, not in the bedroom. The TV is in the main room and can not be seen in the bedroom. How is this supposed to be relaxing or comfortable? The TV does not have a USB plug so that I can watch a movie off my hard drive. Even though you have been booked and pre-paid for the room with a company card, they insist on your personal credit card and then also want to photocopy your photo ID. You have to walk across the street and down the road to get to the business that provides the included breakfast. The smell from the restaurants downstairs on the ground floor wafts up even onto the seventh floor—a very strong odour even by the morning.…

We value our guest’s comfort and would have loved the opportunity to address your concerns during your stay. Unfortunately, I was unable to view the housekeeping related concerns raised due to the delay in receiving these concerns. I have had the air-conditioner tested and was unable to find any cooling related issues. We are currently in the process of upgrading some apartments to include an air-conditioner in the bedroom. Please know that it is Hotel Policy to site our guests ID and while your accommodation was prepaid, we do require a credit card guarantee in place. I do apologise that we are currently not offering on-site hot breakfast, however we do have a continental breakfast option and are happy to recommend our guests to local breakfast options. Rooms were a little older but has everything you need. Clean and tidy. Highlight was the excellent and helpful staff. Nothing was too hard. Multiple question before and during the staff and most if all they were flexible with availability. I checked in at 10am and checked out at 12.30pm which was amazing as I was travelling interstate!

Rude Manageress. The most arrogant attitude.On the Tuesday 4th April 2023 I delivered a gift basket 3 hours before my guests arrived and politely requested to the zManageress and her assistant that it be delivered to their room. Didn’t happen. I asked if she could book us a table at the in-house Chinese restaurant for that night. She said No the restaurants are independent of the hotel. I asked for the phone number which she gave me. I rang the restaurant twice and the call diverted back to the hotel. On my third try The Manageress answered at the hotel and the smugly said that the restaurant doesn’t open on Tuesdays. My Taiwanese guests arrived and along with their luggage they had to carry the large gift basket to their room. Dusty, broken kettle, ants in the kitchen sink, no aircon in the bedrooms only on lounge. Small pedestal fan in wardrobes. No fly screens and no Netflix or internet. A black vinyl with most of the vinyl on the cushions peeled away leaving stained thread bare Sofa with rips and cracks on the rest. Filthy carpet and dirty windows. Real 3rd world. Doesn’t anyone inspect the rooms and do they have cleaners at all? I left a message asking the Manageress to call me but as you would expect nothing happened until I once again had to follow her up. she was very evasive as to anything being wrong but finally agreed the sofa was not acceptable. Later that day it was eventually swapped with one in minimally better condition. With the Asian owner having inherited this Hotel from his parents and a history of his total disregard of customer service and disrespect for his patrons is it any wonder his Manageress is so obnoxious to the guests. I would recommend never stay there tell your friends and family the same. As a tip to the Manageress I would say go get a job where you don’t have to deal with people or get some help in the form of training in hospitality. Stayed two nights, we had to be moved after a few hours as the aircon was dripping onto the carpet. Put into a two bedroom unit one floor down with the master bedroom and onsuite shut off. Had to get the bedroom and onsuite opened as the other bathroom had no hook for the shower rose. Rose and hose wrapped around the soap tray. No service for two nights so had to ask reception for toilet paper. The rooms were clean and tidy.

This apartment was large, a little tired butvery functional for a 4 night stay. Daily servicing was available although all we wanted was rubbish removal and fresh linen. Quality of linen particularly towels was sensational, beds and pillows were great. Wifi was good and free. The downsides were cutlery not a complete setting for 4 and no bread an butter plates. Also the only restaurant open was Indian the others appeared to be permanently closed.
