We lived in Thaewa villa in this nice and friendly resort on the north end of Ko Ngai beach. Villa was clean and ok. Breakfast good. The good part of the beach begins 200 m to the south. The restaurant surprised with its absolutely fantastic fresh BBQ sea food.

Me, my girlfriend and her family stayed at Thapwarin for 5 days. We had the most relaxing and tranquil stay. We highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a relaxing vacation in near connection with beautiful nature, far from your everyday stress. Location: Thapwarin has a beautiful location right on the beach. After trekking the East and southern part of...

We just finished our stay for 3 nights at Thapwarin. Stayed in a garden cottage. The bathroom is open to outside with gaps in the door to the room. There was a lizard in our room as well. We had a mosquito net, so that was fine. However our room smelled horribly of mold when we checked in. The front...

We stayed in one of the garden cottages. They are small but confortable. The gardens need some landscaping. The views are stunning. The beach is not that good to sunbathe as when tide is high there is no space for a chair. You can lie on the sunbeds in the garden. The breakfast is okay. fruits, eggs, pastries, but nothing extraordinary.I liked Thai food...

We had planed to stay here 4 nights left after 2. Had booked a beach front bungalow of a good standard, but were placed in an old bungalow, which really needed renovation. Even if it was close to the beach a double sunbed (for other guests) was placed in front of us. The beach: When tide was low the first...

Koh Ngai is a place you come to to relax, and at Thapwarin we were able to do just that, much thanks to the very friendly and dedicated staff at the resort. Much of the staff - we found out - have been returning to the island and the resort season after season for several years and seemed genuinely dedicated...

We looked at the web site before our stay, and the place is a bit worn out. BUT its really relaxing. There is nothing to do but read books and relax. Staff in restaurant is very sweet. Breakfast so so. Restaurant kitchen so so. The neighbour Coco restaurant is really good and they have a very good coffee. Shape up...

This resort had everything. Lovely rooms - plain but had everything you'd need - beautifully kept property, the best views in Thailand. Free breakfast, kind staff and cute friendly pets running around. Definitely the nicest spot on the island. The restaurant was pretty good, but next door at Coconut Cottage is better. We lunched at the other spots on the...

We spent 5 days here with our 8 month old son. The staff truly make this place a lovely place to stay they couldn't have done more to make us feel comfortable. The front beach rooms are lovely but the back bungalows are a little tired and need updating. You are on a desert island in Thailand though so it...

Room clean, no English program on TV, wi-fi not available if you stay back of the resort but it's ok on public area. Beach depends on low & high tide, sometimes you must walk long way to swim. Overall not too bad. Staff are friendly and talk good English. Mosquito spray is needed.
