We visited the Royal Decameron Vallarta from July 25 to July 30 and we booked our trip through Apple Vacations. They did a good job and we didn't encounter any problem (well, they actually gave us a wrong pick up time to go to the airport on our way back, but together with the RD staff they fixed it in... I just returned... I am not feeling well now so I may update this when I am back to myself. Quick run down: 5 stars for the nightly shows! The dancers work hard and practice all day. I think it's great how they learned to dance to American music (YMCA, Footloose, Grease Soundtrack, NY NY, Chicago, etc). They're very good... More

After reading about 50 of these reviews, we were expecting the worse. This place was a good deal for the money. Keep in mind this is a *** hotel for Mexico (not US standards) and that this resort primarily caters to native Mexicans. Only 10% of the visitors are American in the busy season - so don't expect fluent English... More

My husband, daughter and I were at Royal DeCameron on July 11-July 25 . We have been to many all inclusive resorts in Mexico, but this resort was the worst, and by far. In my opinion, the resort operates to accommodate locals. What’s wrong with that? Well, the management cuts corners on everything, and when I say everything, I’m not... More

I stayed at Decameron during the week of June10-17. The resort was nice and colorful. It was real inviting, staff was helpfuli in getting around. Food was ok... (served lots of chicken & pork). The drinks were great... not greedy with about serving you . visited the bar by the beach nightly. The resort serves SOL and INDIO for beer...... More

This was my first trip to Mexico! Upon arriving i was very hesitant about the distance we travelled from the airport and the area we had arrived in, Although once arriving to the front desk they were very kind, and were more than happy to assist us with our bags and be the first to offer us a well needed... My husband and I decided to book our 10th anniversary vacation at the RDC with help from Apple Vacations. For starters, the reps for Apple were very informative, polite and willing to assist us at anytime. We left for sunny Mexico on July 15th on USA 3000 at 6:00 a.m. Upon arrival I was almost taken in by the time... More

First of all, this was our first trip to Mexico. I did a lot of research, scouring reviews. I wanted to make sure I was fully prepared. I did not realize when booking this trip through Apple Vacations that we would be in a resort far from other resorts and that it would be located in the slums. Don't get... More

We just returned and had a delightful time. I do not understand the bad reviews I have read recently. They must come from first time visitors to Mexico. You can find nicer places, but not in this price range. This is an older resort but nicely maintained and pleasant (almost charming). We stayed in Block 3 and were close to... More
