Really enjoyed my nights stay here. The bunkhouse is amazing. The room we had was spacious, lots of storage areas for all your bags etc. Lots of plug points for charging. The bathroom was clean, lots of showers and toilets. Great cafe/bar, foods amazing with a. great selection of drinks.

As a previous poster has stated this place could be an amazing place to stay if it was actually possible to sleep. The noise caused by the fire doors is constant. Whilst there are multiple signs asking people to close them quietly you will never overcome the ignorance and stupidity of the average human who will insist on ignoring that...

We stayed at the bunkhouse while walking the west highland way. It's in a great location right on the trail with no other options. With a few modifications, it could be really great, however it failed in a few ways. It's incredibly noisy. There are multiple fire doors that no matter how everyone tries to be quiet, they slam shut...

I wasn't expecting much from the temporary bunkhouse, but it was very comfortable and well equipped. I'm more used to B&Bs with proper mattresses on the beds, comfy duvets, big fluffy towels. But Kings House has these in the bunkhouse. And little touches like individual shelves, reading lights and plug points by each bunk. The natural wood door handles and...

Coffee these days is usually pretty decent (and we're not hugely fussy as such) but this was a miserable experience all round.Cakes on display were those virulent bright pinks and yellow things you get from a cheap bakery.Totally unappetising. My tea was fine (once it finally was ready) but the watery yet incredibly bitter brew that was a coffee with milk/cappuchino...

While planning the WHW I wanted to book in at the new bunkhouse, but unfortunately none of my phonecalls were answered. As a result we ended up staying at the Glencoe Resort a mile up the road. Because there was no vegetarian breakfast option at the Glencoe Resort we walked down to The Way Inn. The variety and choice at...

Hotel currently closed therefore booked into excellent new bunkhouse which is right next to the hotel. Very well designed and thought through with good sized rooms, drying room, tea room and a café/bar just across the courtyard. Great welcome and a fantastic breakfast to fuel a beautiful walk down Glencoe as I headed for Kinlochleven.

Last minute booking so out room was pretty small, not sure what the rest are like. Not the best shower but that wasn't much of an issue. With the deer outside and the gorgeous setting we had a lovely stay and were able to get out in the crisp weather for a walk around and feed the deer. Dinner was...

Walking the WHW we stayed one night at the Kings House. Our room was #22, a big room, very quiet with fantastic views. The dinner was very good and there were many nice choices for breakfast: Cheese, meats, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit in addition to cooked choices like eggs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

It's old fashioned, quirky, needs refreshed but all in all it's comfortable, friendly with great atmosphere and fabulous food. Has been taken over and I haven't noticed a difference as yet and hope this continues. It's in a stunning setting, don't go expecting luxury but do expect breathtaking scenery! Stayed here too many times to count and will always come...
