We had been invited to a young friend’s wedding and because the journey from Hampshire was over 6 hours we decided to make it a long weekend with the hope that the northern weather would be kind. There were three recommendations for accommodation and I chose No61 which is a B&B and Tea Room but a major plus is that... More

Firstly, what a wonderful building. Followed by a fabulous welcome, beautiful room with a fantastic view from the balcony and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and we wished we could have stayed another night. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We stopped here for 2 nights & were so pleased we chose it. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome, and felt really well looked after throughout our stay. Great recommendations for places to eat & things to see - and we were thrilled with our room. Spotlessly clean, lovely décor & probably one of... More

Our hostess and her husband gave us a warm welcome as we checked in, and they gave us advice on restaurants and area attractions. Even though the building was ancient, it is nicely... More

I was visiting family and the location was perfect. The Metro is a 5 minute walk away and the seafront 2 minutes. Tynemouth Village has some lovely independent shops and plenty of places to eat. The weather was superb when I visited and it was great to see people sitting outside eating breakfast which made for a nice atmosphere. I... More

We visited as two couples at the end of the Coast to Coast cycle ride. Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast and staff were very helpful. Cycles were placed in secure storage overnight. We would recommend for cyclists passing through.

Great location - on the high street in a wonderful town, AND my room was between 2 Pokemon stops so I didn't have to go out to reload on pokeballs! For the sad people like me, Tynemouth is also a little hotspot for Pokemons. AlsoI can't recommend highly enough the fish shack at the beach for food The guest house... More
