Booked this for only 1 night to break our long drive to Lisbon, nice surprise, friendly staff and very clean rooms. Free parking and a nice quiet area. Definitely worth it if you need a room in the area.

I've stayed in Monte da Leziria Rural Hotel in June and definitely recommend it.

It's very well located, next to great beaches and Santo André Lagoon and also near the city, as well as the local attraction Badoca Park (Safari Park).

The place is very quiet, very good to relax and enjoy the nature like for example, the singing of the birds in the morning.

The rooms are very nice and very clean as well as the bathroom.

The staff is very pleasant and also very nice.

They have a nice living room to relax and also a bar with free Wi-Fi.

The breakfast is also very good and despite of the breakfast room being a little small, it's plenty enough for the number of guests and also very cosy and charming.

I highly recommend it and probably will go back there.

My family and I (2adults + 2children under 6y) stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The place is very pleasant and cosy. The rooms were big enough to accommodate all 4 of us including 2 extra beds. The hotel staff was very nice and available. 3 remarks: the term "rural" is only admissible as vila nova de Santo André is not a urban center, although "rural" in my mind would imply somewhat of a countryside landscape and... there is none; the breakfast area is small and I saw several people having to wait outside for a table to become free (I didn't had any issue, so probably it is not dramatic); the plumbing in the bathtub and sink should be revised, as the water doesn't flows properly down the hatch.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and we were disappointed. First of all pay attention to your reservation. We made the reservation on booking.com and it didn´t run very well. In the reservation it was possible to make a reservation for 3 persons. When we arrived at the hotel we were informed that they had no triple rooms and the extra bed was a little bit small. So it was just recommended for kids until 12 years old... Our daughter is 14 and she is much bigger than me, so she didn´t sleep very well.

Another subject... breakfast...First of all they have a breakfast room with just 8 tables! The room was full, and there were several persons outside waiting to get a table. This doesn´t seem acceptable. The breakfast itself was lousy! Bread, bread and bread. oh, and dry croissants, some dry biscuits and natural yogurt. No eggs or sausages, no fruits, lousy ham, lousy cheese, no cereals!!

The corredor of our room smell very bad, specially at night.. sewage smell.
The staff was nice, except for the lady in the breakfast room, who was not very nice, and provided a slow replacement of the missing food. We don´t recommend this hotel.

This hotel has a lovely interior, the staff are very welcoming and the breakfast buffet exceptional. One thing though and that is the location. As the hotel is designated a rural hotel we expected a rural setting unfortunately it is in a built up area right on the edge of a new town. Also, compared to their website gallery, the grounds and seating arrangements are rather shabby and not welcoming.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and offered a lot of information about the surroundings and gave good advise on where to eat. The room was nice and very clean, had a nice bathroom and big balcony. The breakfast was good with a good assortment of fruit, very good local and more generic bread, various jams, cheeses, cereal, teas, etc. It has a good location just entering Vila Nova de Santo André, very near the lagoon.

We looked for a hotel in the area on the internet; the Monte da Leziria was the nicest we could find for a very reasonable price. Looking around in Santo Andre seeing some other hotel it indeed was the best! Nice rooms, clean & quiet.

Plus the service from the staff was excellent.
I left my earphones in the room; they got lost but Cátia Matos insisted to get me some new ones from the same Sennheiser brand and send them to my home address.
I'm a very frequent business traveller so I know that this kind of service is rare I can only say: very well done these people know what hospitality and service is!

There's not much to this hotel, but it's a great place to explore the surrounding region if you have a car. There's a stunning and virtually empty beach a mile or so away and the rolling hills of Alentejo all around. The staff is nothing short of fantastic, essentially helping me plan a large portion of my trip, figuring out a bus I could take from Lisbon and then onwards to Sagres. Very friendly people, very lovely area.
