Moravola is magical! Where to start...? Architecture is sublime. The building details are perfect as are the grounds, pool and gardens. Accomodation is generous, comfortable and very stylish. A lot of the food is from the property and breakfasts and dinners are just delicious. Seonaid and Chris are welcoming and charming hosts. What they have created here is amazing. A...

Stayed 2 nights at Torre di Moravola with my wife and daughter towards the end of July; the narrow dirt road leading up to the Torre was well-maintained, and for me symbolized a real and mental disengagement from the hustle and a bustle of life; the Tower Suite was elegant, cozy and modern, with a beautiful bathroom area and views...

Amazing location to enjoy the beauty of Italian central landscape, surrounded by incredibly nature in a historical renovated building buy amazing designers. Small familiar atmosphere with amazing hosts! The food is better then is some Michelin restaurants! And the facilities are really great! Pool is amazing! They also helped out with all the private requests that I asked to organize...

My friend and I booked separate rooms at Torre at the end of September 2015. We had one splurge stay planned on our trip to Italy and this was it. I felt Torre Di Moravola definitely lived up to expectations. I was in the West Room which was nicely appointed and the bed was quite comfortable. I was in awe...

The things you don't know you are about to experience were the best parts of this amazing hotel. The pictures on line to do not do the property justice. We stayed with another couple and each of the rooms were unique and done to such a high level of architecture and design that it was almost a work of art...

Torre di Moravola is simply the most beautiful place that we have ever stayed. It is hidden in the breathtaking Umbrian countryside, along a gravel track, across the valley from Montone. The property is uniquely inspiring - a 12th century watch tower imaginatively rennovated with stunning architectural flair and design. The open areas are light and spacious and the rooms...

This is what luxury travel is supposed to be about. The owners, Christopher and Seona have done it all in renovating this 10th century watch tower into a contemporary gem with all the right touches, and nothing 'over the top'. The setting is remote and beautiful; Christopher is an amazing chef, and despite excellent meals in the surrounding villages, we...

My husband and I stayed at Torre di Moravola in July as part of a 6 week holiday in Italy traveling from Australia. The tower is beautiful, it is surrounded by views in all directions, the rooms are simple and elegant, the food is fabulous and the pool is sublime at the end of a day out exploring. Seonaid was...

Friends arranged the accommodation and reading some of the negative reviews I was a little unsure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and had a great time at Moravola. This is not a large hotel experience. Its a fantastic restoration of an crumbling old medieval tower, restored into a fantastic modern luxury retreat, with beautifully appointed, self contained living...

While reading some other reviews of the place I could not help but notice a pattern for the not so positive reviews: they all thought Moravola was a hotel! Well it is not, instead it is a beautiful luxurious bed and breakfast, you basically stay in someone's castle in the middle of beautiful Umbria; and the owners - who designed...
