Staying at the Lord Edward was a very pleasant experience. The staff were efficent, professional and friendly. Our room was cosy, bright and extremely comfortable. Food and service were great. The location is ideal for the shopping village about 2 minutes drive and 7 minutes walk. Great experience and location, I highly recommend it.

Brand new rooms, extremely comfortable and very quiet. Check-in at the Silken Thomas next door was fast and friendly, breakfast in the morning very tasty and served generously. Menu is not very extensive but this is us being extremely picky and would be unfair to score you poorly. Can't really find a fault in our 1 night stay, if I...

This is a great location, in the centre of Kildare just off the town square. Stayed in a single room. To my surprise It had a double bed. It was a nice well appointed room, very good full Irish breakfast, best I have had in a hotel. Staff are welcoming & helpful.

Overall, a very satisfactory experience. Even before we got to the Lord Edward/Silken Thomas I was impressed with the communication I received, clearly detailing the check-in and catering arrangements. I had prepaid our evening meal and breakfast, both of which were excellent and served in the bar. Our room was clean, comfortable and quite well equipped (free Wi-Fi included).

We stayed here while attending a wedding in Martinstown, from start of the booking to check out, they couldn't do enough for us especially Diata, she was so helpful to all our family members staying here. The room & breakfast were perfect too. Thanks

There is major renovation going on next door to the B&B. It did not bother us but in the near future the Lord Edward should be even better. The walls are thin, but the rooms are very nice. Room 301 is huge! The wifi is good. The bathroom could offer an additional towel, but overall it is a very nice...
