First stop biking from Toulouse! Great Welcome, we started with the "Formidable" to recover a few calories lost during the day. We stayed in for dinner to get the the first Taste of THE Cassoulet. Recommended! The only glitch for me is the bed size. 160 is little narrow for us but got promised that larger beds were on the... More

This is the second time we have stayed. It is in the French tradition of family run "restaurants with rooms". Accordingly, the welcome and attention are excellent. The food is good, rather than exceptional, and the room and facilities are adequate. As we use it as a stopover, it's location is not an issue with us.

The service was unbelievable; the staff could not do enough to help us in all kinds of ways. Our room was extremely clean and the bed comfortable. There has been some criticism of the location of the hotel but we feel that is down to a lack of knowledge of Castelnaudary. We have previously stayed in a more central hotel... More

Our family over-nighted at this family-run hotel before our cruise on the Canal du Midi. Our welcome was great and we were put up in very comfortable rooms. We enjoyed our dinner - A limited but adequate Menu with the food prepared to perfection and well presented. The Winelist was good and the wines enjoyable and affordable. The passages are... More

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night as part of a cycle tour organised by Randelo Velo. The location in an industrial area near a giant supermarket, a petrol station and car sales yards on the deg of town was not very conducive to appreciating the historical and picturesque areas of Castelnaudary after a long day's cycle ride. The... More

This is a business hotel not in a very good location. It is not near the canal or town. It is in an industrial section on way out of town. The rooms are small and not very comfortable. The walk into town is not very pleasant either since you are on a main road. I'd opt for a more central... More

Hi. I think you write at the wrong hotel-restaurant. I have no "Pablo Cedro" who's coming in my etablishment. You never came in my hotel, and you never came in my restaurant. Look at our other comments, you are the only one who complain about our rooms. And for you knowledge, the rooms were renovated last winter. If you are... More

I want to stay this review by saying that although this hotel is not perfect, I am giving it a perfect review because of the wonderful people that own and run it. We stayed one night at the hotel before picking up our LeBoat for the trip down the Canal du Midi. We found the hotel to be clean and... More

Arrived here due to the hotel's walking proximity to Restaurant Le Tirou, continuing my cassoulet mission. On the main road to Carcassonne with plentiful parking within the Clos, its easy to find with a very genial host of this family run establishment. Wife and son also work in the restaurant at night. Our room on the 1st floor was spacious,... More

We stayed at Clos Fleuri for 8 days, since we had business in town. The owners are very helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and comfy. Parking lot is closed during the night and there's a nice pool in the garden that clearly has been taken good care off.The restaurant is a big extra, though: they serve the best food... More

Its the best in town but thats not difficult! Family run , extremely welcoming including to dogs but the rooms are dated and scruffy. No excuse for black mould in bath. However, the chef is exceptional, the food imaginative and superb value. We recommend it for the restaurant only
