On the edge of town in a commercial area. Old fashioned with few luxuries. Tiled floor and hard beds. Really needs an update. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good and the staff very pleasant. Very simple breakfast. Have stayed in much better hotels for the money.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 31 August 2016

The service was unbelievable; the staff could not do enough to help us in all kinds of ways. Our room was extremely clean and the bed comfortable. There has been some criticism of the location of the hotel but we feel that is down to a lack of knowledge of Castelnaudary. We have previously stayed in a more central hotel...

A very welcoming hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable and the whole hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is good with great food and some great wine and the owners are charming. What's not to like? We certainly plan to return.

First stop biking from Toulouse! Great Welcome, we started with the "Formidable" to recover a few calories lost during the day. We stayed in for dinner to get the the first Taste of THE Cassoulet. Recommended! The only glitch for me is the bed size. 160 is little narrow for us but got promised that larger beds were on the...

This is the second time we have stayed. It is in the French tradition of family run "restaurants with rooms". Accordingly, the welcome and attention are excellent. The food is good, rather than exceptional, and the room and facilities are adequate. As we use it as a stopover, it's location is not an issue with us.

Our family over-nighted at this family-run hotel before our cruise on the Canal du Midi. Our welcome was great and we were put up in very comfortable rooms. We enjoyed our dinner - A limited but adequate Menu with the food prepared to perfection and well presented. The Winelist was good and the wines enjoyable and affordable. The passages are...

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night as part of a cycle tour organised by Randelo Velo. The location in an industrial area near a giant supermarket, a petrol station and car sales yards on the deg of town was not very conducive to appreciating the historical and picturesque areas of Castelnaudary after a long day's cycle ride. The...

This is a business hotel not in a very good location. It is not near the canal or town. It is in an industrial section on way out of town. The rooms are small and not very comfortable. The walk into town is not very pleasant either since you are on a main road. I'd opt for a more central...

Hi. I think you write at the wrong hotel-restaurant. I have no "Pablo Cedro" who's coming in my etablishment. You never came in my hotel, and you never came in my restaurant. Look at our other comments, you are the only one who complain about our rooms. And for you knowledge, the rooms were renovated last winter. If you are...

I want to stay this review by saying that although this hotel is not perfect, I am giving it a perfect review because of the wonderful people that own and run it. We stayed one night at the hotel before picking up our LeBoat for the trip down the Canal du Midi. We found the hotel to be clean and...
