i traveled to Nosara by myself and after spending a quick weekend at Kaya Sol with friends last year, I thought it to be the perfect spot for a week of relaxing, good surf, good food and service. I was 100% right in all aspects, and would recommend it to anyone.

-This hotel has a great vibe and beautiful atmosphere, and for the price you wont find a better place to stay. The location is perfect as its in the middle of town with access to everything including the beach. -If your looking for surf lessons Neil is the man as he's patient but motivating at the same time while pushing...

we headed to Nosara to catch up with some friends down in Costa Rica from Canada, and got a couple of beds in the hostel hut. more pricey than a lot of CR, but still, spotlessly clean, individual safes for valuables, cheap board rental, kitchen, pool... also, very friendly and attentive staff

Not much to say here except that KayaSol is an amazing place! Great location, a stone’s throw from one of the safest and most beautiful beaches I have seen in all of Costa Rica. Good restaurant! GREAT pool! Room was perfect, hot water, safe, no need for AC. Friendly staff, surfboards for rent. I met cool people from all over...

We stayed at Kaya Sol for 8 days this spring and it was very good value for what we got. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are basic but clean and have all of the amenities that we needed (private bathroom, small bar fridge, screened in patio). We were in suite #5. the location was ideal. Only a...

We stayed here in two different places, one in Room 10 and also in the beach house. Both places were fabulous. Very affordable for the generally expensive Nosara and wonderful with the kitchen and all its supplies. A short walk to the beach and a wonderful small pool with a waterfall. The restaurant/bar has very good food to offer and...

March 2014. Kaya Sol has room options for everyone and every budget. Affordable, clean, good food, good people. In room safe was great for valuables, quiet time at 10pm so no late night noise, easy walk to the beach. the luscious gardens made for a jungle feel, especially with monkeys and iguanas hanging out in the property trees. Staff and...

We visited KayaSol in February 2014 and it was as promised; affordable, clean, comfortable, friendly and relaxing. We stayed in the beach house, it was great! We had 3 couples and it was roomy and clean. With the exception of a few lights that needed to be replaced there were no issues. Plenty of room to put your surf boards...

Three of us couples stayed in a beach house. The house was large, there were dishes, pots, silverware etc already there. Granted, it reminded me of college when I had a kitchen full of dishes that were hand-me-downs but it was a great homey feel. It made me wonder if people that stay there might leave things they purchased for...

Great hostel on a budget, has a community kitchen. Close to a superb beach break. The staff are the sweetest, most helpful, friendliest folks ever! Andrea and Judy, the gals at the desk are absolute sweethearts. They are extremely helpful and friendly with anything, I speak terrible spanish, and they helped me survive while I was there lol.
