It has the look and feel of a once-premier property: impressive lobby, posh chairs in the dining room, terrace for coffee or drinks, though the lobby is a bit dark in my opinion. Easy walking to restaurants and tourist sites; quiet street in what is probably the "old town". Prices in January 2017 were very discounted. The bathroom appears re-furbished...

Egg station including Vietnamese egg. Which is basically like an open omelette. Coffee with fresh milk. The milk is over by cereal. Thai dishes. Till 10am but you can sit and have a another coffee, no worries. Very relaxed. Lots of natural light from massive windows unlike another hotel in the area with less natural light and a bit depressing...

Laithong Hotel is a very pleasant hotel with very pleasant staff always welcoming you warmly. Our room was very quiet indeed, with all amenities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. A very good breakfast awaited us every morning, with a wide range of choice and at a price difficult to beat. Although we chose only Thai dishes and they...

Enjoyed the great lunch buffet for a very reasonable 199 baht with Western, Thai Chinese and Japanese food. My favorite was Dim Sum which was delicious. Very popular with Thai and Westerners. Also grand piano played for a nice classic atmosphere. Would definitely come here again to eat.

Bed comfortable but sheets had a feeling of a very fine sand on them.? Turned the shower on and water went everywhere such was the pressure. But try...

The best thing about this place is the location is in walking distance to some nice restaurants in the city. For Ubon Ratchathani Province, it is a bad idea to drive after drinking because there is so many police check-points in this city. The room and facilities are just like an old hotel which is established since I was very...

One of Ubon's old faithfuls, it is a little tired now but, the staff are very friendly, the rooms clean and well maintained and, a great (inclusive) beakfast the next morning. Inexpensive, well run and good overall so - a winner in my book

We were here for a reunion and tp attend the Little Mother Ubon ceremony in November 2015. Our room was fine, the food was good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would use this hotel again. We had a reunion lunch in the function room which was of a very good quality. We also had some buffet style meals...
