Stayed here for 3 nights. For the price the room was very good. Spotlessly clean. Large bed with firm mattress. Large bathroom, with powerful hot shower. I had a room very close to the lift, but i never heard it once and I stayed during a busy weekend. In fact the hotel was very quiet. There is a restaurant and a number of brrakfast options are available. Free tea and coffee in lobby. The owner/manager was always there to greet me in the morning and engage in friendly conversation. Nothing better than starting the day in a happy frame of mind. He was also very helpful in arranging a car and driver to explore nearby national park The hotel is within easy walking distance of the City Pillar. It does not have a gym, but the main park is a 10 minute walk away and who beeds a running machine when you can jog alongwith locals around the perimeter and their are public exercise equipment. The only negative is the room did not contain a safe. But it felt completely secure and I had no qualms about leaving valuables in room. Tip - if you get a chance try and visit Samphon Bok. During the dry season it is awesome. …
This hotel is good value. The rooms are decent. Nothing to write home about, but would recommend as a nice budget option in a pretty central location. Staff were friendly and it's in walking distance of restaurants and bars. Nick
Good value for price. Clean rooms, hot shower with good water pressure. Didn't try breakfast. Centrally located in town. Easy for cabs to find. Good service -- the first room I got had a very noisy A/C, and was able to change without a problem.
Confortable, cheap, and well located in a quiet alleyway. The manager, Kon Suparat, is 82 and goes out of his way to help. He not only rang and organised a bicycle rental, he drove me to the shop and bargained down the price! A wonderful energetic fellow. Breakfast isn't included but is cheap and instant coffee is free.
A very modern and well designed hotel where attention to safety requirements is at a considerably higher level than many Thai budget accommodation. E.g. there's an up to date maintenanceccertificate in the lift and a proper outside concrete fire escape with signs pointing to it! I don't normally worry about such things but this is so unusual it had to be mentioned. As others have said, the elderly owner is totally charming and it is clearly his mission to ensure all guests have the best possible stay at his property. It works! The staff too are delightful. The rooms are large and kept immaculately clean. Breakfast in great variety available at a modest cost. Can thoroughly recommend.
