Upon arrival friendly welcome and shown to room. First thing we noticed was it's very tired and basic, the mattresses were in really poor condition, very flat and lumpy. In desperate need of new ones. Sheets changed every couple of days but came back to find blood stained sheet on my bed. We asked for a quiet area and were...

The hotel has gorgeous views, the swimming pools are fine. The food is awful but hey they have a kickass bar, the two bar tenders Gio and Nik are such babes! Those two are a laugh, probably the only reason I'd come back to that hotel. ............

Everything was beyond amazing! Really nice hotel. The food was delicious and the staff was incredible. If you want to taste the best cocktails in the world, go see Nikos. He really knows what he is doing! And he is the sweetest at the same time. Made my day, every day. We are definitely coming back!

This hotel was definitely a mixed bag. On the positive side the staff, whether waiting, bar or reception were all friendly and helpful. They were always willing to offer advice if requested and rectify issues that were raised with them. There standard or English was generally very good; although we did struggle to make ourselves understood by the lady that...

Don't know where to start.. Rooms are very basic, beds very firm, feels like sleeping on the floor, pillows God knows how old they are.. You have to pay for air conditioning if you want it in your room 7 euros a day! Ridiculous, in hot country that should be free! Food:I'm not a picky eater but this place is...

We booked our stay via On The Beach at a very reasonable price for a family holiday for 5 of us (children age 4,8 & 12 yrs old) it was great! Met all our needs with the facilities and the food was excellent quality. Always a choice for the fussy little ones too! On our late arrival we weren't by...

Overall the hotel was pretty much as we expected. Air con is an extra 7 euro per night - which we had expected so worked it in to the overall price were paying. We arrived late in the evening and once Kostas on reception had shown us our room he took us on a quick tour. There were plates of...

Overall we had a wonderful time in Crete! The Lyda club is a lovely little hotel, we paid for an upgrade as our first room wasn't what we expected! Very dark and old fashioned. Our new room overlooked the activities pool and was just lovely! They say All inclusive but only I would say part inclusive ... the bar for...

Our room had a fridge -always handy. But no kettle (there is a free coffee/tea machine in the snack area ) but if you want a hot drink in your...
