On arrival first impressions were good with beautiful views and grounds. The room we were allocated had not been refurbished yet and you could tell with tired furniture and carpets. The window we tried to open was broken and resulted in an emergency call to reception maintenance to assist us before it fell out! They decided it needed attention the...

Thanks for the review, I notice that you stayed back in February, I’m pleased to say that the hotel has now completed the refurbishment. I am very sorry that there was an issue with the hot water the morning that you checked out, this is unfortunately something that cannot be predicted but was resolved as fast as was possible. Thanks...

Just had an amazing few days stay. Booked for 2 nights but then asked for an extra one - "no problem" they said. Before our stay I sent an email saying it was a special occasion and I got a quick reply from 'Rachel' who then said she'd reserved a Kings Executive room that had spectacular views across the Loch...

The setting was great and the view from our room was stunning. The staff in the hotel were good. But eating remains a problem, and the reviews below show a continuing poor standard with no attempt to sort it We stayed for 2 nights in May. The hotel restaurant was closed the first night and so we had to eat...

Absolutely fabulous!! Everything was excellent from the greeting at the door, staff on reception, guided to our room with a little bit of history about the hotel, such a personnel touch! The restaurant was fabulous, lovely warm reception from all staff members. Our room had a balcony so we could sit and watch the loch sooo relaxing, and my husband...

This had to be the most romantic hotel I have ever been in (even though I was a solo traveler.) The room was beautiful with a king size bed, a fireplace (not sure if it actually worked or not), plenty of room for clothes, and huge bathroom with a separate tub on one side and a huge shower on the...

Rustic and peaceful setting at this first rate resort. Overlooking Loch Lomond, patios and balcony make for one of a kind picturesque scenery. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was scrumptious with plentiful portions. My only negative about the lodging would be as a senior citizen having to walk up several stories to the room.

With a timeshare exchange in a two bedroom lodge .... nothing could be faulted with excellent accommodation Amazingly well equipped kitchen - big lounge dining room - only the weather -it rained a lot. The Garden restaurant was excellent but only open on Saturday newspapers ...but could not be troubled with vouchers. No phone signal and limited WiFi in the...

We had a 3 night break, me, husband and hound! The staff were fantastic; attentive, respectful and nothing was too much trouble. Any minor issues were resolved immediately without fuss. We had a beautiful loch side view and enjoyed watching the wild goats playing in the manicured lawns. Spa facilities are excellent. If you get a chance take a dusk...

Have either stayed or owned a Lodge for over 30 years & each Saturday when we arrive in 1st week in May we have a family meal in the bar restaurant in the Spa building opposite hotel which is now called Rafters. Over the years the food quality has ranged from good to pretty average and the cost from reasonable...

We stayed here for a week in May last year, and the location is very nice. I need to note that we were staying in the resort accommodations (not the hotel itself), so my experience may be a bit different. However, all our experiences were positive. Our lodging was very clean with refinished bathrooms and kitchen. We ate in the...
