Firstly this is a big resort in fact the Jetty along which are dotted the various water villas is 800m long. The longest in The Maldives I was told! But let me go straight to our Villa, 20 and share the experience. There is a private door and upon entering you walk through the front of the garden with greenery either side of you as you arrive at another double garden door which upon opening you are greeted with what I can only describe as a mini beach estate! In front of you is a deck with plunge pool and his and hers deck chairs and a low gate (step over it) to your “private” beach entry with two more deck chairs with towels awaiting your swim in the clearest of waters. The villa is very nicely appointed and the grounds and villa are carefully for by a wonderful team. Each day they would sweep up the flowers and leaves that had fallen overnight and place flowers around the entry and into the plunge pool with so much care and pride. But it didn’t stop there as the back of the villa contains an open air shower, a seperate bath under cover and again the same treatment is reserved for this area, leaves and flowers swept and cleared up. But the highlight each day was the bed for our return - our Villa Host, Idris, would thoughtfully arrange pictures or messages etc on the bed - a work of art was created each day! You didn’t want to disturb it!
Let me finish up by an overview of the Food and Wine. Firstly I’d like to acknowledge Sameera who kindly took an interest in our reservations for the restaurants whilst making recommendations which were all perfect.. but now the more surprising part which I did not expect and that is the wine list… Not only the most extensive wine list you could hope for and incongruously available in the middle of the Indian Ocean but assisting your selection were 5 Sommeliers! It was a real pleasure and I always feel is an honour to meet and talk about wine from Sommeliers who train and are passionate for what they represent. So thank you specifically to Puneet, Akul and Vincent who are part of a wonderful team able to represent the best choice your budget allows! Whether you are spending $100.00 or $1000.00 (or more) they just want to please and the service and wine list would not be out of place in a Michelin star restaurant in Paris, London or New York. Talking of food! My favourite was Meeru Barefoot Grill… from meat to fish - we experienced perfectly cooked, Hokkaido Scallops and had to have the Maldivian Rock lobster Thermidor.. This is not a budget resort and if you are looking for a great location, fine food and wine in the middle of the Indian Ocean this is hard to beat! But make sure Idris looks after your villa!

I have always liked Constance's hotels. This time I came to the Maldives for my honeymoon, and I also hopped to the island on the last day to experience the higher-end Halaveli. Although I didn't have enough time to experience the entire hotel in one day, I also felt that it was worth the money. The room of more than 300 square meters can be said to be fully equipped, and basically everything you need is provided in the room. There are three bottles of iced welcome drinks when you just arrive in the room, and there is a special wine cabinet in the mini bar with various types of wines, not to mention the two bars on the island and the restaurant that provides drinks for all three meals. You can't finish drinking, you can't finish drinking at all, it's a paradise for wine lovers. The service on the island is also very good, especially the housekeeper Silvia. Although she doesn't speak Chinese, she also prepared WeChat and translation software, and she can respond to any requests in time. Because I only stayed on the island for one day, I didn't book the special beach barbecue restaurant in advance. When I wanted the housekeeper to help me make a reservation, it was already fully booked, but I still helped us wait on the list, and I was lucky to be in line before dinner. I enjoyed a very delicious dinner. During dinner, the housekeeper also came to ask about the check-in and dining experience. An extra compliment, the wine recommended by the sommelier is very delicious. Back in the room, the room service staff had already rearranged the bed and toiletries according to the sleeping habits, which was very considerate. Overall, the experience of Halaveli was very perfect. I hope to stay longer next time and experience this island well.

As a family that travels frequently, it takes a lot to impress us but this was spectacular. Service was attentive but not in your face. The waitstaff were quick to fill drinks, offer new cocktails, and clear plates whilst not disrupting the natural flow. The room attendants went above and beyond for a birthday, and the design on the bed was original and clearly took a lot of time, cutting bamboo leaves. They constantly refilled a wide range of snacks, drinks and water in the room. The water villas are private, luxurious and the snorkeling is excellent. Lots of reef sharks, stingrays and many fish that you don't have to swim far to see at all. We stayed in water villas and commented how the villas on land seem hotter and more humid amidst all the trees. But the AC is VERY powerful and we did not feel hot in the rooms at all. I cannot recommend this resort higher. The seaplane transfer was well organized, quite hot and stuffy but that's more todo with the plane than the hotel. There are a few free activities, paddle boarding, peddle boating, stand up paddle boating that kept us entertained alongside the Beach, a couple outdoor games, tennis and plenty of seating areas. The staff work hard to ensure guests do not see the behind the scenes and only a peaceful, quiet, relaxing resort. More peaceful than pretentious this resort is very well thought out and it's clear it is run by excellent management.

Dear Eva T, Warm greetings from Constance Halaveli Maldives! Thank you for sharing your perfect experience at our beautiful island. As a family that travels frequently, we are honored that our resort exceeded your expectations. It delights us to hear that you found our service attentive yet unobtrusive, allowing you to fully immerse yourselves in the natural flow of your vacation. We are thrilled that our villa host could make your birthday special with their thoughtful touches, and we're glad you appreciated the palm leaf design. It's fantastic to hear that you enjoyed the privacy and luxury of our water villas, along with the excellent snorkeling opportunities just steps away. The abundance of marine life, including reef sharks, stingrays, and colorful fish, makes for unforgettable underwater adventures. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the cooling efficiency of our air conditioning in the villas and are pleased it contributed to your comfort throughout your stay. We're delighted you enjoyed our range of complimentary activities and facilities, from paddle boarding to outdoor games and tennis, all designed to enhance your relaxation and enjoyment. Regarding your comments on the seaplane transfer, we understand the challenges and appreciate your understanding. Although the seaplane service is not directly managed by the resort, we acknowledge its importance in our guests' travel experience. Rest assured, I have personally shared your feedback with our partner, Trans Maldivian Airways, to ensure they are aware and to collaborate closely for an enhanced service experience. Thank you once again for your glowing recommendation and for highlighting our resort's peaceful and well-thought-out atmosphere. Your kind words about our management and team members mean a lot to us. We can't wait to welcome you back for another spectacular stay at Constance Halaveli Maldives! My stay at Constance Halaveli was simply extraordinary! As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Amélie, and every moment spent in this paradisiacal setting only reinforced this first impression.
Thanks to Hunaïs for his meticulous attention on a daily basis: our room was always impeccable, with delicate touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. A big bravo also to Sandun, who prepared sensational cocktails – a real artist behind the bar! The sommeliers have been a valuable help, their advice has allowed us to discover wines perfect for each dish, and their knowledge is impressive.
As for the restaurants, we were dazzled by the quality of the dishes. A huge thank you to the chef and his team for unforgettable meals, where each plate was a true work of taste art.
Finally, a huge thank you to Robie for the diving sessions! Thanks to his expertise and passion, we have safely explored the seabed of rare beauty. It was one of the best diving experiences we had.
The Constance Halaveli is a real gem, and the incredibly dedicated and professional staff makes the experience unique. Thank you for these magical moments, we will definitely come back!

After many years, this was the first holiday as a couple again, without children. We had deliberately looked for a small, exquisite resort with a family atmosphere and our expectations were completely exceeded! The arrival alone was perfect: we landed in Malé, were picked up by hotel staff right at the exit and taken to our own lounge where we could freshen up. Unfortunately, we had to spend a night in Kuramathi due to bad weather and darkness, but the next morning we were taken directly to Halaveli, where it felt like the entire resort management was already greeting us on the pier. The room was already lovingly decorated and was cleaned so clean and tidy every day that you could literally have eaten off the floor. Since the resort only has around 80 villas and was only 30-40% occupied at the time of our trip, we always felt like there was more than one person who looked after us personally. But this was always completely unobtrusive. The resort chain places great value on personal relationships and you can tell. Every wish was read directly from your eyes. The houses are of high quality and beautifully designed, as is the entire complex. It is maintained every day. You can snorkel on the house reef and around the villas. Corals are currently being repopulated there and that is why there are beautiful fish to see everywhere. We always saw a few blacktip reef sharks and a small ray. You can get snorkeling equipment for free at the diving center. There are always enough places to lie down on the beach and by the pool. There are 3 very nice young men who make sure that there are always fresh towels and that you are well looked after. We only ate in the main restaurant, which was what we wanted. The buffet was very, very extensive and incredibly delicious. If you wanted something different, the chefs prepared it for you. We also thought the sommelier was particularly great. She really knew what she was doing! In short, this vacation was like paradise. The only thing was that the weather wasn't always perfect, but we knew that because of the time of year we were traveling. And when it rained, it was always only for a short time and we passed the time in the beach bar. Special thanks to Hesh, our personal contact on site, Nihaadhu (Nidya), who cleaned our room so well every day, our two table waiters Gasim and Shakir, our sommelier Puneet and the 3 great guys from the beach bar (Jautte, Adam, ? (unfortunately I forgot his name). In any case, the all-inclusive package makes a lot of sense. The price level on site - there are no alternatives - is very high. We had 10 wonderful days and will definitely come back again.

Even our arrival was wonderful. Thanks to our travel agency, we were able to enjoy a private transfer in a top-class Mercedes SL. We had booked the business class flight with Qatar Air, which uses the new Q-Suite on the Frankfurt - Doha route. This is probably the best business class we have ever flown - the space and privacy are simply amazing!!! When we arrived in Male, we were greeted by an employee of the Constance Resorts, who took us to the lounge at the seaplane terminal. Here, too, everything was top-notch and everything was there: food, drink, shower, etc. After the approximately 45-minute transfer, we arrived on Halaveli. We received a very friendly welcome from a team from the island and a German-speaking employee (many thanks to Joseph) checked us in and immediately showed us and explained the island. We had water bungalow no. 61, which is located roughly in the middle of the (supposedly) longest jetty in the Maldives. In fact, the jetty where the water bungalows are located is enormously long. From our bungalow, it took about 10 leisurely minutes to get to the island. The water bungalows are well equipped and nothing is missing, the minibar is filled daily and here too everything your heart desires is available, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and chocolate. At this point we would definitely recommend booking the all-inclusive package. The water bungalows consist of a large bedroom, king-size bed, bathroom with shower and bathtub, and 2 sinks. Outdoor pool and direct access to the sea via a staircase. The only small drawback is that the outdoor terrace is not covered, so you can't stay outside when it rains. Since we had rain every now and then, we decided to move to a beach villa, here there is an outdoor roof and here too the villa and its facilities exceeded all our expectations! We were very lucky to move into villa no. 14. This is on the lagoon side and has an incredibly wide (even at high tide) sandy beach on the doorstep. Each villa has its own loungers with a large parasol on the beach and you constantly feel as if you are alone on this island. This is the third time we have been to the Maldives, but this island beats everything we have been to before! It is simply a beautiful, very well-kept island with a white, fine sandy beach and lush vegetation. The island can be completely circumnavigated on foot - this is not the case with all the islands in the Maldives. Meals are served in the main restaurant (buffet) or by reservation in one of the other 3 restaurants. The theme in the main restaurant changes every day so you don't get bored. Everything is delicious and there is a huge selection. We would particularly like to highlight the honest, warm friendliness and excellent service of the staff. Rasheed, the restaurant manager, made all our wishes possible, Shree, the sommelier, immediately understood our taste in wine and from then on gave us excellent advice every evening, Tapas, the chef, explained and presented the dishes to us and here too we were always surprised and spoiled with little extras, we would like to thank Abdullah, Jailam and Gasim in particular but also on behalf of all the colleagues in the service - this island has without question a fantastic staff - Shukuria and we would love to come back!

Our next visit to the Maldives and first visit to the Constance Halaveli Hotel, but in 2022 we have already enjoyed a holiday in the Maldives at Constance Moofushi. I am still pleased with the Constance network's own minibus from the international airport to the new, now familiar TMA complex, and the seaplane departure lounge belonging to the hotel network (with showers, snacks, drinks, air conditioning, etc.). A 15-20 minute seaplane flight and you are in paradise in the warm welcoming embrace of the Constance Halaveli team. Since check-in takes place in our own seaplane lounge, upon arrival on the island, a short excursion on an electric car and you are at your villa. The villa (we had the lovely Beach Villa 23) is kept clean twice a day and regularly and thoughtfully replenished with all necessary supplies. Many thanks to Idris and his colleagues, we really appreciate it. Idris is a very very attentive and creative person, thank you very much again. The minibar is also replenished regularly once a day. The hotel's guest support service is available 24 hours a day, including via WhatsApp chat. The island itself is small, clean and very, very green with good access from each villa to the beach and the ocean. The hotel has two bars and the following restaurants: Jahaz is a buffet restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kaika - sushi restaurant is open for lunch only (fees apply for all meals). Meeru (barefoot chic beach grill) and Jing (Asian) are a la carte restaurants open for dinner only. These restaurants require advance booking and we made this easy with M E&B for the entire holiday. Sommelier services are also available. All restaurants and bars have absolutely delicious food and drinks served beautifully! All employees, the whole team try very hard and work at the highest level! To be fair, it must be said that the hotel is of course a little outdated after 15 years, but everything is maintained in excellent condition, any inevitable problems are quickly fixed, changed and updated. The Internet is quite fast, the network did not cause any complaints and did not interfere with work. The split system in the villa is noisy, the TV does not allow viewing images of today's encodings and quality... but this is rather a whim. Unfortunately, during these holidays we were not very lucky with the weather - it was windy, but not rainy. Therefore, I could not fully enjoy diving with TGI.

When you look at photos of Maldives you think they have installed a filter or have chosen the best places to do them. However, when you get there, any corner is like those photographs. A paradise! We had a hard time choosing a hotel that met our expectations. There are many hotels and they all look very good. We opted for the Constance Halaveli because the rooms above the sea had a traditional decor (cottage with wood finishes) with exquisite comfort. Upon arrival, we discovered a place where you would like to stay for months. The room is comfortable and invites you to stay all day. The beach is crystal clear and with nearby reefs for diving. And the people who serve you always have a smile and a story to tell you. We are looking forward to returning to Maldives and the Constance Halaveli Hotel.
Some recommendations: - the best rooms on the sea are those facing the reef, from number 45. - do not select a room too far from the island, to avoid having to walk too much. There is a buggy service that takes you to the island but it is better not to depend on it. - all restaurants are excellent, but, the Jing restaurant, by chef Atul, is exquisite. Book in advance and several times.

Halaveli - is a feeling of coming home, a feeling of warmth, a feeling of well-being! A paradise for dreaming and relaxing!
First of all, it must be mentioned that after our 6th stay, we are repeat offenders and absolutely addicted to Halaveli.
When we arrived on the island, we were once again warmly greeted by numerous familiar faces who greeted us with a refreshing welcome drink and beautiful flower arrangements.
In the room, we found our suitcases already there, as well as a lovingly decorated bed and many small delicacies and attentions from the hotel. Our stay in our preferred beach villa with the incomparable open-air bathroom and private pool left nothing to be desired and immediately gave us a feeling of coming home.
The change to the dreamy water villa was also extremely smooth and comfortable. All wishes were promptly fulfilled, be it an additional parasol or other amenities.
We really enjoy the fact that the villas are kept in a traditional style and yet offer every luxury. The attentive and highly trained housekeeping contributes significantly to this. We would like to point out that the hotel immediately allowed us a late check-out due to our late departure time, which we really appreciated. It is something special for us to meet familiar faces every year who already know and anticipate our wishes. The hotel manager Tangi was always present and concerned about our well-being. Our all-rounder Sameera anticipated our every wish and really organized everything. Reservations in the restaurants, all activities and events and, last but not least, the very comfortable move to the water villa. Our private dinner on the beach was an unforgettable moment on Halaveli thanks to him, Santosh and Ismail. Many thanks to Santosh and his great team for the minibar that was always filled according to our wishes and the fantastic in-villa dining. Bandara made our visits to the Jahaz Bar daily highlights with his unique, warm manner and attentive team. We already miss his great cocktails in the beautiful ambience and the breathtaking sunsets. The fantastic kitchen team, especially the head chef Siddiq, Malith and Thujadeen, left nothing to be desired at the breakfast or lunch buffet. The varied theme evenings in the Jahaz restaurant offered a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes. A visit to the Jing restaurant is always a culinary experience, thanks to the excellent service, the exceptional ambience and the exquisite dishes with matching wine accompaniment. The entire service team was very friendly, helpful and attentive throughout. We definitely recommend a visit to the SPA, which will delight you with exclusive treatments in dreamlike treatment rooms. Halaveli presents us with a comprehensive, all-round carefree package that allows us to escape the stress of everyday life and return home full of energy and deeply relaxed. A big thank you to the entire Halaveli family for this. Best wishes and see you soon Karin and Julia

For his wife who dreams of travelling to the Maldives, he chose Constance Halaveri, who HIS recommended. In February, he escaped from extremely cold Japan. The Maldives is dry and mostly sunny, and the villas with private pools on top of the lagoons are spectacular inns overlooking the horizon and beach, offering a lovely space to watch tropical fish swimming to the point of overflowing with snorkeling directly from the villas. The beach was impeccable with views, sand and of course the sea itself, and the number of beach beds and maintenance was more than adequate. There were also three different restaurants, each with its own unique charm: JAHAZ (buffet), Jing (floating restaurant) and Meeru (sand restaurant). The wide variety of restaurants was said to be one of the best features of Halaveli. JAHAZ and Jing each have a BAR. We drank too much champagne and brandy for inclusiveness… lol Activities such as diving, cruising and photography were also very detailed. Since there are a lot of Japanese customers, you can speak Japanese to a certain extent, but it is safe to speak English. The reception/front desk staff were enthusiastic and didn't feel uncomfortable at all, even if they were slightly different due to linguistic issues. I liked the fact that they were able to respond quickly to requests with messaging apps such as LINE. They also respond in Japanese, but I used DeepL translation to exchange messages in English. This is recommended because it is faster to respond and there are fewer misunderstandings and mistakes. The other customers seemed to be mostly European and Japanese. It sounds strange, but the overall customer base was good because of it, and at least there didn't seem to be any noticeable trouble at all. The staff are also friendly and will talk to you about anything.
If you want to go to Maldives in the future, I think it is the only choice for me personally. I can't imagine hospitality like this, and there's a lot of unfinished business. Be sure to check out the reviews!
