We stayed at the Port Stanley Beach Hotel last weekend, which was booked highly recommended by a family member. The hotel was booked a year in advance and a specific room was requested. Upon check-in, we were given a room different than originally requested. We didn't complain about this, we understand things happen. After going into the room, we discovered...

My husband and I stayed this past week for 1 night. We found the food and staff to be excellent. The Famous Yellow Perch dinner was AMAZING. I would go again for dinner but not overnight. I found our room to be so "DAMP"..it had a horrible "DAMP" odor. Everything in the room was DAMP. The area rugs, the bed...

Stayed this past weekend with my husband. The weather was perfect and the plan was to hang out on the beach. And we did! The hotel itself is part of the restaurant. It's a strange lay out. You have to walk through the restaurant to get to your room or on the patio where people are eating to get in....

Don't be fooled by the exterior, this little hotel right on the beach has fabulous rooms. All seem to have been re-done recently with hardwood plank flooring, fresh paint and modern bathroom. The staff is extremely friendly. Attached also is an outside restaurant although the view is of the parking lot, but the food is very good. Breakfast is included...

Stayed for 3 nights. Great location, close to the beach and the fact that breakfast is included in the price is nice, the breakfast place is so-so. The sad thing is that the view of the beach does not exist. The entrance to the hotel is odd, most times I had to walk through the restaurant patio to access my...

I travelled solo to Port Stanley back in July (for a family reunion at a nearby park) and stayed at the Beach Hotel for the weekend. I had stayed here a few years ago and remembered it to be a pleasant enough experience so I decided to make a return visit. Overall, the experience was okay. On the plus side,...

We checked in on spec after driving for ages looking for a place to stay. Although we have been to Port Stanley many times we hadn't stayed here and always thought it looked a little bleak surrounded by parking lots. We were given a very spacious and well decorated King room with a huge en suite shower room facing the...

upon checking in at the bar of the restaurant, we were required to pay up front. At the time we didn't think anything of it, but looking back, that is quite out of the ordinary for a hotel. Once in our room it was very nice, clean etc and my wife and I had a couple of drinks before heading...

We are very sorry that you had an unpleasant experience staying with us. As I am hopeful that you can appreciate we have been told on a few different occasions that people have been called away from staying after a short time, however the room was used. We are very sorry that you had an emergency and were unable to...
