Good location close to the Landmark Centre. Attractive area. Nice people. Although described as having a bar and restaurant, make sure, unlike me, you read all of the hotel description as they don't do dinners and have a small honesty bar. Perhaps should be described more accurately as a Guest House

My husband and I visited this hotel at the beginning of April for my Birthday. It was the start of the season therefore very quiet and peaceful. Peter was a great host and gave us a very warm welcome. The bedroom was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Home baking was provided in the room together with a selection of tea,...

We stayed here for 2 nights in total, I had a double room (single occupancy) upstairs, and my son and his wife had a large double room downstairs. The hotel is set in attractive grounds, and the owners Peter and Jeanette are in the process of landscaping particularly around the pond. They also have holiday chalets to rent, but I...

I stayed here alone for a few days during a break from work - lovely, personal service, excellent breakfast, clean and spacious rooms - great place to stay for exploring the Cairngorms. Thanks very much.

This was our second two day visit to Fairwinds. This family run hotel provides warm and spotlessly clean accommodation, comfortable bedrooms (great nights sleep) and courteous and attentive service . A tasty choice of highland breakfast sets visitors up for the day and the 'honesty bar' provides a welcome opportunity for a nightcap if needed.

We stayed at Fairwinds for two nights recently and found it spotless with nice linen friendly owners and a cracking highland breakfast. It's a lovely little place for a highland stopover and we were lucky enough to see the resident red squirrel climbing the tree at breakfast . Recommended.

When I travel about I am a little envious of the humble snail who carries his home with him on his travels. However, all that envy is dissipated when arriving at Fairwinds Hotel - literally, home from home. An immediate warm welcome is given by the owners Peter and Jeanette who then escort you to an extremely tastefully decorated bedroom...
