A truly delightful B & B. We stayed in the Mulberry Room which was light and airy and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was roomy and had the most brilliant shower (a rain shower and another removable head. The towels were huge, soft and thick. The bed was enormous and SO comfortable with excellent white linen. Lots of 'little touches' that...

We stayed in The Art House for a mosaic course ( my second and my companion's second) and had a really lovely time, escaping Brexit chaos all around Art House is situated in a spacious home, elegantly decorated and furnished with antiques (Dexter is a keen collector) and Liz's stunning mosaics. Liz and Dexter are excellent and attentive hosts. Breakfasts...

I stayed at the Art House for the weekend attending one of Liz's mosaic courses. The entire weekend (apart from the underlying topic of Brexit) was perfect in so many ways. The Art House is situate in a beautiful Victorian house which has been stylishly refurbished. It is close to the seafront with a lovely walk to Brighton. The bedrooms...

We stayed at The Art House for a long weekend and it was totally perfect; a short walk to the beach, easy to walk into town but calm and quiet enough to get a great night sleep. Dexter and Liz couldn't be more welcoming and Dexter went over and above and drove us to the pub where we were meeting...

My husband and I stayed at The Art House for two days when we were in Brighton for my sister's wedding and it was the nicest place we stayed out during that whole vacation. Dexter is a wonderful breakfast chef and an extremely pleasant host. Liz's art is incredible. Especially the stunning mosaic bathroom floor! Their garden is just as...

The care that has gone into renovating is clear. Beautiful and stylish but as there are only 2 rooms at the top of the house you never feel you are intruding. Gorgeous bath, softest towels and such a comfortable bed, we both slept so well. Had the garden room which has a lovely view but sure the other at front...

A lovely, chilled and totally relaxing time was had at the Art House with Dexter and Liz. The Garden Room has an enormous bed, a lovely bath, superb garden views - all far away from the noise and din normally associated with the centre of Brighton and its stag/hen dos. Dexter's cooked breakfast was more than a match for me,...

Dexter and Liz were very welcoming. I felt very relaxed during my stay. The room is part of their house but still felt very secure and private. The room and en suite were clean and comfy with everything we needed. The breakfasts were freshly cooked with lovely ingredients. We agreed that we would like to stay here again in the...

You will find The Art House Hove has an atmosphere of graciousness and calm. This refurbished Victorian villa combines tradition with modernity and style. Located 5 minutes from sea, it has easy access to central Brighton and Conference Centre. All rooms are individually styled, big windows and comfortable but not en-suite.
