We stayed on a Saturday for one night with Travelzoo we were very happy with the price, as when we looked at going here before it was very expensive . Our room was in the court yard described as best room . It was very comfortable , lovely bed and bedding ,however it did feel like it needed a lick...

Stayed overnight, what attracted us was that it was dog friendly and they certainly are offering. Dog biscuits and even said that as we were leaving our dog in the room at breakfast the maid would take a sausage for him! Amazing. Ambience is fantastic very olde worlde we ate in the bar in front of the log fire, very...

Had a Sunday night stopover deal and left after breakfast Monday. Very comfortable and clean. Food and service excellent. Very olde world in the original parts of the pub with woodburners and sofas nearby. Plenty of car parking, lovely part of the world even in winter. Although we were in house, there are some rooms away from the main building...

Came here with friends day after new years. Really nice cosy pub for a winters night with luxury spirits, large open fireplace and really nice old building, you can park in the side road opposite. Will definitely come again.

The rooms are built into old cottages next to the pub and are quite charming. Quite warm and cosy. We were in a "best" room - I think others are labelled as "good". This gave us a free-standing bath as well as a walk-in rain shower. A few little quibbles like cracked tiles on the hearth, and the bed was...

We’d always wanted to visit the Westleton Crown, having passed through Westleton many times – it’s an inviting-looking place in a picturesque village – so we made a point of stopping by for lunch on the way back to Manchester from a holiday in Southwold. We arrived a little early, about 11:45 – a sign on the door said that...

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at the Crown this year and sadly it will be the last time. We asked to stay in the same 'best' room which was very nice, decently furnished and comfortable although at £180 per night is I think over priced. Particularity as there wasn't much shelf space in the bathroom to put...

We've stayed before (5 years ago), and little has changed - still an excellent place for a few days relaxation. However, we were concerned to be informed by e-mail a few days before our visit that the kitchen was undergoing an emergency re-fit (part of the ceiling had collapsed). We needn't have worried - the staff were coping exceptionally well...

We've stayed here a lot, but this time it just wasn't as good. We booked a "good" room, and although it was well appointed it was VERY small, with just a narrow skylight. A bit problematical for anyone a bit claustrophobic. The sound proofing was not brilliant either, with plumbing and bathroom noises audible, as well as TVs. At £140...
