We stayed here for one night in Urfa, where we went to a girl's house. The location of the hotel is already very good, in the center. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us go to a wonderful sira night in Urfa :) Sıra night; nahrin The hotel is architecturally very beautiful and authentic. The rooms are spotless, we stayed in a triple room and it was very large. Breakfast was a mixed breakfast, everything tasted very good and was delicious. If I came again, I would stay at Astarte again!

I chose the Astarte Hotel because I was attracted to the fact that all the rooms were named after the old Mesopotamian gods (I got Manu) and the whole place looked clean and recently refurbished. Its also situated in the old town of Urfa which I wanted to experience.
The whole hotel is clean and refurbished, but in a sympathetically traditional way. Its a bit of an oasis in the old town most of which hasn't been renovated. The street the hotel is on has local shops and bakeries, some workshops, but there are also a few gems around (like a very comfortable nearby restaurant that serves alcohol).
As far as accessing the Balikligol complex? Its literally a two or three minute walk down the hill. You'll also go past the site where they found the "Urfa Man" on your way (now in the Urfa Archeology Museum). You can also easily access the old bazaar, and all the restaurants and shops in the old town easily on foot.
Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It also had a jacuzzi which was perfect to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast in the morning is really quite splendid and served from 08:00 in the open courtyard at the centre of the building. You get eggs, cheese, different kind of fresh breads, fresh and cooked vegetables, various dips and sauces...you get the picture :-)
The couple that run the place have limited English but are very friendly, welcoming and charming. Everything you would want from your hosts and you feel like you are guests in their own home (which in a way I think you are). Upstairs from reception they have a restaurant kitchen and dining area ready to go, so that will be a really good addition to this hotel. Recommended.

You feel the good energy when they greet you when you first enter. They were warm, reliable and sincere. The design of the rooms, the comfort of the beds and the cuteness of the garden are very sweet and beautiful. It was a place I wanted to come to every season just to stay. The kind of bagel they make for breakfast is the kind you want to eat plate after plate.

We had to stay 1 night and leave the place we went to for 2 nights on April 9th. The room smells extremely damp and there was no ventilation in the bathroom and toilet area, and the smell comes into the room as it is. All the conversations and sounds in the courtyard were inside the room. A piece of glass came out of our egg at breakfast. We gave our car for parking and they crashed it from behind. The service you receive for the price we pay is very bad, after all, you will pay the same price if you go to corporate city hotels. Unfortunately, everything was terrible for us.

Urfaya gitmeyi planliyorsaniz kesinlikle bu Hotelde konaklmanizi cani gönülden tavsiye ederiz. Otel personeli inanilmaz misafirperver.
If you are planning to go to Urfa, we strongly recommend you to stay in this hotel. Hotel staff are incredibly welcoming. They welcome you not as a customer, but as a guest in their home. Great places are recommended and help is provided in all matters. Respect, love and customer comfort are definitely at the forefront in this hotel.
The hotel itself gives you an Aegean atmosphere and reminds you of the famous mansions of Urfa. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is varied and fresh products are prepared every day. There is something for everyone, sweet, bitter, fresh handmade cheese and many other foods to suit your taste.
I would give this Hotel 10 stars if I could! We got to know you very well and thank you wholeheartedly for this wonderful hospitality!

The location of the hotel is great - within walking distance to Balıklıgöl and The couple running the hotel were very friendly and extremely accommodating. They allowed us to check out late at like 2.30 pm. So this was a big plus. We were with our daughters so we booked a family room, which was big and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

It''s an environment where you can stay with clean, friendly family. No parking problems, it''s a spot within walking distance to a souk and fish lake. The breakfast is amazing. Staying here and visiting the surrounding attractions are a breeze... Whirlpool fish lake...

A wonderful place! Very soft beds and pillows, very warm duvet and romantic room. A beautiful internal courtyard. Great attention to detail. The host welcomes you in person over tea and tries to help you with all the planning of your stay. Truly highly recommended! Even Sanliurfa like Istanbul is full of beautiful and sweet cats!

A very lovely family-driven hotel with the kindest staff that will help you with every problem or need you might have and they are always open for a chat. Nice clean facilities in beautiful old historical buildings, delicious and filling breakfast, and a good central location near the centre to e.g. Balıklıgöl and other tourist spots - as well as good parking conditions just outside the hotel, in case you travel by car. Thank you for a lovely stay! I will definitely come back if I find myself back in that region again. :)
