Dear Readers I hope this review gives you an idea and opportunity to choose this wonderful hotel. As a woman trying to explore Turkey, it’s time to write a review for this hotel I met 2 years ago. For 2 years, I have stayed at Tessera Hotel on every trip to Urfa. Animal-friendly hotel first. This is so important to me. They''re very attentive to our animal companions who are guests in the garden. The employees are always friendly. And the rooms are spotlessly clean. I forgot a shampoo on my last trip. Fair hotel shampoos make hair bad. I had to use the obligatory hotel bathroom. Even that was good. Because the hotel owner Yasemin strives to take care of everything with one hand. The concept of quality service - visualized by the strong temper of the Eastern woman. Success of this team is consistent. With soulful convenience, you can stay right at home.

This is is an amazing hotel. It was by far the least costly of all our hotels across Turkey and by far the best in every possible dimension.
Set in a restored Armenian enclave away from the bustle of Sanliurfa city life, this is an oasis of tranquility and hospitality. The rooms are tastefully and elegantly furnished what seems to be the result of a meticulous renovation of a 500 year old property, with comfortable beds, modern plumbing and so many places in the various inner courtyards to just relax. It reminded us a bit of a Moroccan riad but with a unique style and history that is only from this ancient city of Ur.
Madame the owner cares so much about your experience and her staff were far more attentive than the butlers of the St Regis or any five star resort globally. It feels like an extended family at which you are guest of honor, simple yet elegant. Proficiency in English is not as common in this region, but phone translation filled any gaps.
The hotel arranged tours of Gobekliteppe and Karahanteppe with a real archeologist who would take us through museums or nearby caves and point out with great humility what he had personally excavated.
There is so much to see in Turkey its perhaps hard to spend time here, but this would be a great winter retreat for groups small and large.
For dinner, they just ordered in our favorite dishes, and breakfast was a lengthy and delicious affair each morning.

Absolutely beautiful hotel tucked away in a busy area of Sanliurfa. The hotel is a beautifully renovated Armenian church. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful and you can feel the pride in the facilities. The hotel was very helpful for us arranging a guide for Gobekli Teppe and airport transfers. Our rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully decorated

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful little hotel in the heart of old Sanli-Urfa. The host was very welcoming and informative, personally making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Rooms & beds were lovely and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, the hotel was truly an oasis with a lovely courtyard and terraces overlooking the town. Designated parking lot was a real plus!

The hotel alone is worth a trip! You will rarely find so much history in one place! Mrs. Yasemine and her team will make your stay unforgettable. Your breakfast under the pomegranate tree or on the roof terrace will be a delight.

I had a wonderful stay at the Tessera Hotel. My room was excellent and very clean. The mattress and pillows were perfect. The daily breakfast was delicious and so generous, and Yasemin who runs the hotel, as well as her staff, are extremely helpful and kind. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. This is a unique hotel. It was formerly the Armenian Catholic Church in the city. It still retains some the original feature. Yasemin graciously gave me a tour of the property. The hotel is situated right in the old Armenian Quarter, close to many of the historic and tourist sites.

The very friendly and helpful staff add so much to the authentic beauty of this historic building in the heart of the old city. The rooms are ample and well appointed with a modern bathroom and great shower. The breakfast is fantastic. Five minute walk from Balikligol and the bazaar, I couldn’t have wished for better.

Old church now hotel. You have to see the roof view. Traditional Turkish hospitality is first important thing. Madmazel owner present all hotel as if a museum. Luxury but historically rooms deslgned for comfortable nights. Windows of room see common yard at where costumers sit and talking. Come back with my family
