Stayed here on business as its very close to one of the largest steel works in Europe. Having said that its location is very good and as long as you are not on a high floor you just would not notice the industrialisation. Minutes from the beach and a couple of minutes to town makes it very convenient. The room...

Wijk aan Zee is a very cosy town near the beach of North Holland. it is easy to reach from Amsterdam, Schiphol or Haarlem . and it is very quiet, if you like to get some fresh air by a walk along the beach. The Zeeduin hotel and restaurant is excellent quality with pleasant staff, sufficient parking, good restaurant and...

We stayed for 5 nights. Room was generous but bed was two singles pushed together, which was a bit disconcerting. Comfortable enough though. Staff were pleasant and friendly and helpful. Restaurant is quite good and reasonable value. Location is a couple of hundred metres from the bus stop (comes every half hour from Beverwijk Railway Station, which is about 15...

I stay regularly at this hotel for work, but also enjoy the location in the sand dunes and close to the beach for evening walks. The rooms are a good size, and the staff are friendly. Very good value for the price. The location can get noisy on stormy nights.

I've stayed here on a number of occasions (at least 6/7) but it just seems to be deteriorating. It's always been basic, which you can accept as its good value for money, in a great location, with nice staff and a lovely restaurant, but the room wasn't very clean this time. The bed was the strangest and seriously affected my...

Pleasant beach hotel which is located very close to the sea front. "Jump over a dune" and you are at the sea. 50 metres walk! Nice wide beach, convenient for kids and some nice beach bars for a drink or lunch/dinner. The hotel also has a nice restaurant offering breakfast, lunch or dinner. Wijk aan Zee is a very small...

Stayed at this place for one night. It is perfectly situated right next to the beach before the dunes. The hotel looks very old fashioned from the outside. Inside it has obviously been remodeled. The service was quick and friendly. When entering the room I realized a strange smell and that it was very cold in the room. I realized...

We started with a mustard soup as starters which was very tastefull and not too creamy. Some of us had cod fish, and some veil. Both served with a good amount of vegetables and patatoes, including a very nice patatoe "pie". As dessert we had creme brulee which was tastefull but did not taste 100% like a creme brulee. Overall...
