We stayed here for my Cousin's wedding weekend. The Castle is absolutely beautiful and the rooms all have that touch of luxury. The staff were extremely accommodating and lovely. The only downside was that the weekend passed far too quickly and we didn't have the time to explore the beautiful grounds. I would return in a heartbeat.

A beautifully restored folly of a castle in a spectacular location overlooking the upper reaches of the Tamar. We were warmly welcomed by our hostess, who served us tea, scones and clotted cream, while giving us a potted history of the estate and family, which was at times eccentric to say the least. The interior is sumptuously furnished, with many...

We had a one night stay in Pentillie for my wife to celebrate her 70th birthday 'somewhere special' and special it certainly was. Arriving about 3 o'clock one mid November weekday we were given a short tour of the castle and facilities before settling down to a Cornish cream tea (see photo). The sun was setting but there was time...

We joined friends, along with their family and friends for a wedding party over the weekend. The staff were all very accommodating and the castle felt like it was our own home for the the duration of our stay. Grounds were lovely and varied for country walks.

My mum, my sister and I visited Pentillie Castle for afternoon tea. Our table was in a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. I must commend the waiter who was very attentive whilst serving our tea/coffee, sandwiches and cakes. The food was delicious, cucumber and mint, ham & mustard and cheese and pickle sandwiches, followed by a gorgeous selection of chocolate...

A very warm welcome, beautiful room with a view of the river . Delicious cream tea. The whole atmosphere of the place is just so elegant, but with a flair all its own. Wonderful log fire in the sitting room, every room has an artistry all of it own . Would highly recommend a stay to any one.

We had such a lovely time at pentillie for my sisters wedding. The castle is beautiful and the grounds stunning! My sister got married in the bathing hut which was really lovely. The staff at the castle could not have been more helpful. Honestly I could not recommend this place enough.

My daughter got married here last Sunday. The staff couldn't have been nicer, venue outstanding. Outstanding house but homely. Games room kept the kids happy as did the swimming pool and lawns. Bedrooms massive and every need taken care off. Can't recommend enough .

A lovely large house with every comfort, every effort has been made to ensure you will enjoy your stay. Set in beautiful surroundings, such lovely walks down to the peaceful solitude of the river or up past the farm land to see the mausoleum, with pheasant running everywhere and the views are wonderful
