A very charming inn in the Dutch country side. The decor is very pleasant to the eyes. The terrace overlook a beautiful field covered with flowers. A great place to take a relaxing walk. The food is excellent. But most of all, the staff is friendly, helpful and very professional .

If the weather is OK than this a great place to have a coffee and at the terras. You have a wonderful view over the edge of the woods. The cake is great and worth trying! Not cheap here, 2 coffee, 2 cake and 2 glasses of wine 42 euro.

We stayed on a bike trip. Perfect location, convenient to Otterlo and right next to the park, but at the same time it feels as though it is out in the country. The owner was very nice, and dinner was very good.

My wife and I spent one night here on our bike journey through Holland. The room was clean and comfortable. We also ate dinner at the Carnegie Cottage and the food was tasty. Breakfast the next morning was very solid as well. The staff was very warm and accommodating. The main view from the hotel was beautiful and reminiscent of...

We were just one night and a morning here. We announced a late arrival after midnight, when the hotel is closed. The staff was flexible and easy going enought to leave us the key at an agreed place. The room was clean, comfy and spacious enough. The bathroom is nice with a walk in shower. The room had a small...

I am a regular guest of Carnegie Cottage and I must say it is a very good place if you want to enjoy nature in a very friendly environment. The hotel is next to heathlands and you can have great walks. If you want to visit the Hoge Veluwe national park you just need to drive 5 minutes to the...

We stayed one night at the Hotellerie Carnegie Cottage in the National Park De Hoge Veluwe. It’s a very cozy hotel with a beautiful patio and glass-topped dining area. It overlooks a huge field of heather, which, in season, must be spectacular. There is also a nice view in April – lots of people walking their dogs between the big,...

Everything about this place is superb. Wonderful location at the edge of forested national park overlooking the unusual sandy 'dunes' area of the park. It has both a romantic and natural feel with a sophisticated flare. Excellent kitchen - the food in the restaurant is fantastic (albeit a tad on the pricey side but well worth it if this is...

Good things about the hotel: - close to the Hoge Veluwe park, hiking route in front of hotel, outdoor lake at 1K - good breakfast, friendly reception - free wifi Not so good things: - room was rather...

As part of a self guided bike tour, we were booked into this hotel just on the outskirts of Otterlo, and on the edge of the Hoge Velwue park in Holland. This is a small guesthouse type hotel with a beautiful garden surrounding a quiet patio. You look directly out onto the national park. The road is lightly traveled and...
