Surprisingly pleasant little hotel "in the middle of nowhere", steps away from the water. Highly recommended for those who want to have a peaceful time. Food is very decent, prices are reasonable (not cheap) and the people is very friendly and helpful. For couples there is one thing to consider, the walls are very very thin so you hear what...

We enjoyed the (beautiful views of the) beach in front of the hotel, the delicious food, the cozy living room and Alexanders great hospitality. The live music concert was a much appreciated added bonus. Thanks Alexander for your hospitality and the great place you have created! Greetings from Utrecht, Rouke & Froukje

They also have (board/card) games to play. Free parking outside. Next to the sea. We had as starter the bouillabaisse and pomodori soup. Very nice for warming up. As main we had the pasta and meat balls. Definitely worth the stop. Note: they do not alway have the 'erwtensoup' (so I have heard :)

Sometimes life is like the movies. This truely best kept secret is such a wonderful place to stay. Where else can you dine or have a drink as if you're having a picknick in a sand dune, with sea view? The Strandhotel is as close to the beach as possible, nothing disturbing the view. The restaurant is very cosy, like...

The Strandhotel has only some 12 rooms and offers everything you basically need in a basic way. You can sleep, shower and eat. Don't expect luxury of any kind, but an authentic and characteristic place to stay, located right ON the endless beach. You wonder if they have to dig themselves out of the sand dunes every year. The rooms...

We celebrated my friend's 55th birthday here and stayed 3 nights and cannot wait to return. Don't expect luxury...instead a friendly, comfortable clean beach hotel where you step out of the front door and onto the beach. We had to share bathrooms but not a problem. Had the most amazing sea view where we watched glorious sunsets from the comfort...

We participated in an auction; you could bid for two nights at this hotel at this website called Vakantieveilingen. We won the auction and paid a total amount of 113 EUR including breakfast for two persons. So EUR 28,25 per person per night. Just to be clear: we loved the hostess named Kitty. She was very nice and we praise...
