Entrance looks very inviting and comfortable. Reception was pleasant. Room quite small, but very clean, with all you need for a short stay. Beds quite hard, shower not much more than a trickle (maybe shower head needs replacing?). Breakfast is - very 'old fashioned' these days - served at the table but varied and plentiful. Evening meals were decent fare...

I just love the name of the town Dwingaloo! De Drift staff were amazing! Went out their way to make us feel welcome and kept the kitchen open for us. At dinner the food was delicious and plentiful. This hotel is for the able bodied with the narrow stairs. Don't bring too much luggage. The rooms are smaller than the web site does imagine, but it is all very functional and clean. No balcony or terrace to spend time in your room. Tiny tv above the beds. The food is very Dutch, unsurprising but very tasteful, well prepared...
