It's a small cottage style hotel. I have got the bigger 3 bedded corner room. The bathroom was also very big. Nice beautiful lake view. On 2nd morning of my stay, it started wintry showers. There's nothing to do around the hotel. Lift is very small and slow; way faster for us to carry our own luggage up the stairs....

On a trip to Switzerland, I decided to visit Lucerne and was looking for a place to stay when I found The Postillon just a short distance from the town. Whilst it has an old world charm, it offered all modern amenities. The hotel is a pretty and cozy place nestled in in a scenic setting, with a mountain rising...

On the good side, the hotel overlooks the beautiful lake but on the other bad side it also faces the motorway which is very noisy. The minute you open the window, we are irritated by noise even thru the night even though the noise level tapered down. Fortunately, we are so tired that we manage to get some sleep. So,...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Lucerne. The hotel is only 20 mins away from the city centre and sits on Lake Lucerne. The hotel is a traditional Swiss Chalet style with wood and brickwork throughout the hotel. The reception staff are polite if not overly friendly. The rooms are spacious enough with stunning views over the Lake. This...

Views are amazing - but that is the only draw. Whether its the rolling hillside (complete with Swiss cows) or the movie set lake views that are too good to believe, you really dont have a bad view. The drawback to the hillside view is that it also faces the motorway so it's loud during the daytime if you have...

A bus driver let his engine running for more than 30 min till finally all people were inside....and i was awake way to early! The price for the room is pretty steep. Breakfast was more or less gone after the busload...

This is a quaint cabin themed hotel on the outskirt location of Switzerland. It's a few minutes away from Lucerne by bus. The room and w.c. were all simple and clean. I can't complain. The highlight of my stay here would be the fantastic view of the lake and the icy mountains which are at the opposite sides of the...

The view from the hotel was stunning but it could do with a makeover to match the view! My room had adequate space but a little tired in places however it was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was fine if a little 80s coloured :) There was no A/C in the room but it did have a fan...
