We spent four nights at this hotel. We enjoyed everything about it. We enjoyed a lovely room, lots of good spa facilities and great service. The breakfast buffet was excellent. You can really relax and enjoy a beautiful place in a nice town at a reasonable price.

Good Spa facilities. Amazing breakfast! It is located close to the beach, around 100 metres but it is a quiet place Warm and competent staff You should ask for upper rooms cause they have nice views from the balcony and you can spend nice time reading something from your sunbed

This was simply one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences we've ever had. The staff do an amazing job. They are incredibly warm and it feels as if nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is immaculate and smells beautiful too; fresh flowers inside and out (including rooms). We had little Spanish, but were never made to feel uncomfortable. There...

This is the second time we have stayed at Carlos 1 Silgar. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The bar staff mix amazing cocktails and sangria and take care when serving drinks, the presentation is excellent. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the cleaning staff are always happy and friendly when you meet them. The...

We were traveling through Galicia and my companion had stayed at the hotel previously. The front desk staff was competent, however, not all the front staff knew English. The rooms were clean and the public areas of the hotel were well kept. The hotel was quiet. The only other guests were Spaniards. We did not come across any English speaking guests,...

What a find :) Great location, just around the corner from the beach and yet once back real 4 star quality. The room was excellent, ordered a bottle of wine at the bar and it nearly beat us back to the room! Fabulous breakfasts and good variety for dinner. Would return again no problem.

This hotel is a not on the first-line at the sea and therefore there are not really any views. You might look from your room to a courtyard or at other buildings. If you want to have sea views, don't come here. However, the beach is not too far away. The rooms are ok sized and we had a little...

In our last holiday in Spain we wanted to spend a couple of days on the beach and for this reason we decided to stay in Sanxenxo, at this hotel. We could not have selected a better hotel, for the following reasons: - the hotel itself is extremely clean, pleasant and well-maintained. The rooms are nice and big and we...
