We have spent the whole of November in a private villa behind this hotel. If you want a peaceful holiday do not go there! They use massive microphones to belt out noise at all times of the day and up to 1am. We were not even staying there but the noise from their bar area was ridiculous. They have an... More

Great see view and view on Fuentaventura. Good and various food for the price. Old furniture in the bedroom. Good bed. Schwimming pool ok. Nice playa access also good for children. Great evening spectacle in the summer time . In the winter the team is reduced so probably not so good. Free wlan access only at the reception and main... More

The hotel is nice, with a super animation team. Just in front of the hotel, there's a nice place for snorkeling. The scuba diving club is great too, really nice dives quite near. Papagayos beaches are not so far. You can rent a car at the hotel to visit the north of Lanzarote island (hotel is in the south). Must... More

Nice reception area, no welcome folder in English all in European, no signs in English either. On our late arrival my friend and I (both girls) were sent down for our saved dinner, cold plate of green tomatoes, stale bread, hard plastic cheese, we were the only to arrive so we sat on our own in the restaurant half lights were... Came here in October April/May 2014 approx. Last minute booking for My Ex, my daughter and myself. The Hotel mainly caters to German and Dutch (at this time) but I find you get more at places with lots of Germans lol (they don't tolerate rubbish) The hotel was lovely, the grounds were great and the restaurants were large clean and... This hotel is in transition. It's changed owners a few times and is going from a facility that caters to Germans and Northern Europeans to one that is specifically geared toward French tourists. The staff told us that in the future they were only going to accept bookings thorugh French agencies. That's fun trivia, but what it means is that... More

I just came back from one week all inclusive with my family. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying in that hotel. Firstly, rooms are more of a 2 star hotel: leaking bathtub, old brown blankets, no fridge, old furniture, very uncomfortable beds. Location: it's the furthest hotel in Playa Bianca, 20 min walk at least if you want to... More

At the end of long promenade, near lighthouse. Little bit far from city centre, nearest shops about 1 km from hotel. Friendly staff, very good food. Actually there is no beach, but this hotel has great "beach balcony" with sunbeds, direct on the seashore. Nearest beach is about 15 minutes towards the city.

Had a great week at the royal Monica with 3 other families, we had decided to reap the benefits of our half term being early! We can't complain about anything, the food was great, the rooms are huge the kids and dads regularly took over either the football or volleyball pitches, it was one of the easiest holidays I've ever...
