It's a small town, Seia is, nevertheless the views to "Serra da Estrela"," Mountain Star" were beautiful . Camelo Hotel staff were very welcoming, and especially the restaurant waiters made us feel like family. Will go back this year again for sure!!!

My wife and I have used this hotel for the past 20 years and have always loved it, we were a little worried when Sr. Camelo sold to a group that it would loose its homely and special feeling. We need not have worried because it has kept that really nice feeling. From the help and welcome at reception to...

The staff was friendly and they took us to a perfect room: comfortable, modern and well equipped for cold and warm. The bathroom was really nice, comfortable bed and the breakfast was delicious and with great variety. I highly recommend this place if you are in couples. Seia is a beautiful and romantic city and with some luck it snows...

The hotel certainly worth the money, especially in low season. Wonderfull view from most of the rooms, as the hotel resides on hill slope. It is located right in the center of the city. The staff is friendly, hall is decorated with old stuff for winemaking. There is a restaurant, but we tried breafast only, hich was good.

Is a nice hotel, considering that was built by Jorge Camelo, the previous owner. You can find pleasant decoration and quite places and living rooms. Is located at the base of the mountain what makes easy to go to Serra da Estrela places and towns and never get caught in the road by heavy snow. I would give one more...

It has a great quality-price ratio. The rooms are not the best rooms ever, but they are quite cosy and clean. The swimming-pool area is very pleasant and there is also a fitness room (which I haven't tried). The breakfast is quite simple but it is rather good and it serves the purpose. Also, the hotel is right in the...

Hotel Camelo in Seia is clean, comfortable and right in the middle of the town. Good value for money and has a good restaurant as well. Seia is a lovely place to buy Queijo da Serra (cheese from the region), However the price of the cheese in the hotel nearby shop was slightly more expensive than the other shops around...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights with our 13 year old daughter to be able to visit the beautiful 'Serra da Estrela' mountain region. Service was adequate although on the second morning I think the hotel was full and the breakfast staff had a hard time keeping the breakfast buffet replenished. Check out was stressful as several...

Large hotel, but difficult to find (no postsigns). Large swimming pool, wonderful garden with large playground for children. Very quiet location in the middle of Seia, near the tourist information office. Very clean hotel, easily accessible private parking. Warmly recommended !
