Simple but cozy
After a setback upon arrival (no sheets for the extra bed, no shampoo nor shower gel and broken sofa bed), which the owner promptly tried to solve, our stay was lovely. The houses are simple but have everything you need, the breakfast is good (they even offered me soya milk as soon as they heard I couldn't have milk) the location is perfect. Kids loved to walk around freely.

Incredible wow effect :)
This is an adorable place builded and maintained by lovely people. Inspire the bad luck with the weather we have had a great time full of joy and happiness. This place is great for all who loves nature , stunning landscapes in the heart of the Serra de Estrela natural park. What a gem at Serra da Estrela
Casa do Pastor is located at Povoa Velha, just at the limits of Seia when going to Serra da Estrela. This is a gem. The houses are amazing and hospitality 5*****. Mr. Rui was an incredible host, taking care of everything for an amazing experience. Worth a visit, definitely.

To describe all the ways Mr. Rui took care of our family would just be too long. Suffice it to say I have never experienced hospitality and attention like that. If you ever happen to go to those mountains, you owe it to yourself (and your family) to stay there. We only stayed a night, but we are already planning our next visit.

Homely feeling!
Friendly and helpful hosts, can't really say enough about how nice the owner and all the family are. The mountain houses are beautiful, very typical, an well maintained, with lots of options of number of rooms etc. We visited in the summer, and I would love to be back in other time of the year, it must be very nice by the fire at the end of a cold day!.
