This has been a wonderful holiday, all the hotels have been excellent in their different ways but Villa Campestri makes the perfect finish. Helen & David

I retreated here for two days before travelling on to Florence - and wished I'd stayed longer. As a Relais du Silence, it offers everything you need to get away from crowded tourist cities - only the swifts screaming above in the evening seem to be 'off-message' but I love them as the sound of summer. My bedroom in the...

Our family of four stayed at Villa Campestri in early July. It is set in a spectacular part of Tuscany overlooking Vicchio and Borgo san Lorenzo. The staff at the hotel made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, right through to our departure. Our young children have fond memories of Romano and how special he made them...

We are only a week back home (in chilly NL), and already miss Italy and in particular Villa Campestri. Great place. Nicely furbished rooms, gorgeous views over the Mugello valley from the cool swimming pool, a very friendly crew and great food, all in a very relaxed atmosphere. Critical comments : be prepared for playing kids in the pool...

We have stayed 4 nights with our 2 kids (7 and 2 years old) and it has just been wonderful. First and most beautiful is the location. The hotel is on a hill with an astonishing view of Mugello Valley. You take a very small mountain road for 3 miles before to arrive. The hotel is really in the middle...

Villa Campestri is the perfect place for just about everyone (e.g., couples, families, epicureans, eco travelers, and of course foodies) and for every occasion (out-of-this-world gastronomic experience, discovery of the world of olive oil, peaceful and restful stay, Tuscan adventure, business retreat). It is simply perfect in every aspect and you will create memories there that you will not soon...

We visited the Villa in May 2011 and had perfect weather. It is a perfect place from where you can visit a lot of very nice places like Florence (1 hour by train). San Gimignano and Multipulciano you should not forget to visit as well. The food is special, but maybe not for everybody and not cheap. Personell is perfect...

This hotel gets a lot of positieve reviews, but we didn't like it very much. Ok, the hotel is well situated in a quiet setting, but there is not much to do in the surroundings. It's the first oleoteca in Italy, but to visit it and to taste some olive oil, you have to pay a ridiculous amount of money....

Dear Mrs. Ward, We are really sorry to read your review because when you were here we didn't have the feeling that you didn't like the place. As usual, all the staff asked you many times if everything was ok and your answers were always positive. We think we have been very helpful and friendly with you, also in finding...

The hotel is a pearl in a typical northern tuscan landscape. The way up to the hotel is impressive and the entrance between cypresses majestic. The hotel is a beautifully restored palazzo surrounded by acres of magnificent gardens and orchards. Our room was located in a building in front of the palazzo. The swimmingpool is beautifully landscaped and causes no...
