This is a famil-run small hotel in the hills surrounding Florence. It is a quiet area and the road close-by doesn't have much traffic. They serve breakfast but do not serve lunch or dinner but, there are many good choices at walking distance in the village. The rooms are very comfy and stylish and they can easily accommodate also small...

Overall the hotel was mediocre. Right on a busy road, no view, nothing special at all. The room was also not very clean, the bathroom was filthy. Clogged shower, and dirt everywhere. There are many better places to stay around this area. Save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere.

This little 2 star hotel is a wonderful place situated in the Tuscan countryside. Easy access to public transportation to the city of Firenze/Florence and yet in a quiet corner away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. The prices are reasonable and it has a protected parking area. The hosts are extremely hospitable and the town of...

Just outside San Casciano in Val di Pesa this is little jewel of an inn in the perfect location for travelling to Siena and Florence. The rooms are lovely and spacious and furnished with hand painted Florentine furniture. The bathrooms are comfortably sized with showers made for actual human beings ant anorexic dwarves as one frequently finds in Italy. Dogs...

Minisoggiorno is a comfortable small hotel on the outskirts of San Casciano in Val di Pesa (NOT to be confused with other San Casciano's), which is not one of the most lovely towns in Tuscany but is a convenient base. The hotel has nice period furniture and the owners are very friendly and helpful. My room was smallish but very...

We spent 5 days in Albergo Minisoggiorno in September. The room was spacious, pleasant and comfortable. Sofia, who runs this hotel, speaks several languages and is efficient and friendly. A nice breakfast is served on a pretty table with fresh bread, croissants and jam. This is rather unusual as the Italians, unlike the British, are not really breakfast fans. There...

We stayed in this little family hotel for 4 nights in June. Instantly appealing with it's period furniture, small balcony and sunsets every night. We travelled every day somewhere around Tuscany to Florence, Sienna and San Gimignano and wished we had stayed longer. Our hostess prepared appetizing breakfasts, talked to us about the history of the region and made us...

We arrived late, but got a very friendly reception. Nice room, and excellent breakfast. The couple who ran it spoke perfect English, and were very helpful with respect to our further plans in Tuscany.

It's been a pleasure for us to meet you, too. We still remember the lovely talk we had in the morning, during breakfast. Greetings from San Casciano! Sofia

The hotel is really nice, perfect if you want to explore the countryside of Florence. San Casciano is only half an hour of bus from the center of Florence, and one hour of bus from the city of Siena. This hotel was the right choice, for it allowed us to easily visit both the city and the Chiantishire. The bedroom...

This is an excellent place for those who wish to avoid the hustle and bustle of Florence (and its overpriced hotels). Also a perfect starting point for one day trips to the Chianti, Siena, San Gimignano, etc. In a quiet spot, yet near the motorway and close to Florence. Rooms are spacious, with balconies with a view, very clean and...
