My second stay at this Petit Hotel with the ever obliging Enrico and staff. Great base for day trips to nearby towns and archeologial sites-Enrico can organise a car and driver. Handy if you come to Sicily by ferry from Malta.

I would only suggest to have coffee/drinks after 8pm availability. Otherwise everything is perfect, and nothing is needed to be changed. The staff is exceptional and the breakfast is very good too. Keep it up!!!!!

We lived in a room called E. Cavacchioli. Spacious, well-equipped room (with a fridge), a wonderful, spacious and very comfortable bathroom. All beach accessories we dried on a large common balcony, without any problems. Breakfast was delicious and ample. Cheese, meat, toast, butter, boiled eggs, milk, juice, cereals, honey, jam, etc., everything is there. Coffee is made as you ask,...

Mare Nostrum provided us with a comfortable stop over on the way to Malta by ferry. The rooms were comfortable and clean, there was free parking, a very welcoming host and a good breakfast. Enrico, the owner, advised us on several good local restaurants, a nice evening walk and some history of Pozzalli.

Mare Nostrum welcomes its guests in an environment caressed by the sea breeze and the sun beams of the Mediterranean coast. It has a strategic location. It is situated in the heart of Pozzallo, a nice seaside resort lying on a fine sandy beach and limpid waters, only a few kilometres far from stunning baroque sites, 90 minutes by ferry from the island of Malta and in the heart of the land and landscape of Commissario Montalbano, the main character of Andrea Camilleri, the famous sicilian writer who tells about charming sicilian culture, traditional life and authentic cuisine. Recently refurbished, our hotel offers bright and pleasantly furnished rooms; a suite, double rooms, twin rooms, triple and quadruple rooms. All with en-suite bathrooms, TV set, telephone, air conditioning and high speed cable or wireless internet connection.
