No place in the world is perfect but Masseria delgi Ulivi comes pretty close. We were a family group of ten from kids to grand parents, every one loved it. It is set in very peaceful surroundings with bungalows well spaced to add to that special peace. The rooms, which are air-conditioned, are very comfortable and modern yet styled with...

We had a ground floor room overlooking the lawns. Very peaceful location to sit out in the evening and enjoy an after dinner drink. The infinity pool was a great hit with our family. Breakfast was a feast and the evening restaurant food is delightful.

9 km north of the amazing historic town of Noto, and a respite from city bustle and the heat and crowds, this once olives and animals estate has been tastefully converted into a country resort complete with a large swimming pool in restful green lawned grounds, dotted with elderly and still fruitful olive trees, the smells of nature and the...

We really loved this place, it had a huge outdoor area with a large pool, food was great and Rooms were clean. The Staff and service was top notch, specially our caro amico Franco :-) Now a bit on the Negative side: 1) WIFI was horrible but they told us that this is due to the bad weather they had...

Coming from Catania, this hotel is not the easiest to find as all routes seem to lead to Syracuse, but leaving the motorway at Syracuse’s 3rd exit brings you in comfortably via Canicattini Bagni and then a road to Noto. Although there is a sign or 2 once you are within 5kms, be careful you do not overshoot the entrance...

I want to say thank you to the guest for the good review, but I want to clarify a few things too. 1) in Sicily we don't serve "citron press". For us it is not a traditional drink. But for sure we can serve fresh lemonade with sicilian lemons which is what our barman usually serve on request; 2) it...

We had travelled down the south coast of Sicily, having moved on from places after one night typically. We had only intended to stay a night here, however, once checked it, it was clear to us we must stay and enjoy this place for longer. It was 4 nights of absolute bliss. The place is gorgeous with a serene gardens...

We loved our stay here although service is a bit erratic. Lovely setting and one of the best pools I have ever experienced. Food is great and staff are charming. However breakfast is quite basic - no fresh juice for "oranges not in season apparently" Kept running out of basic supplies - white wine, peanuts, olives etc. Next to Noto...

This hotel is very quiet, in a lovely environement. Nice pool, lovely rooms (we had a fantastic familyroom). We enjoyed breakfast and the dinners on the terrace. Very good service. A perfect hideaway to visit Syracuse, Noto, Ragusa, Modica,Vendicari.

It was truly a pleasure to be nestled into this countryside oasis after a few days of almost missed connecting flights, lost bags and mountain road driving. The property is truly magnificent set in the mountains of Noto's countryside. Everything you needed was there for your enjoyment. Pool, restaurant, tennis court. It was perfect. If you are thinking of visiting...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Masseria degli Ulivi is nestled in the Iblea countryside where olive trees, carob trees and Mediterranean scents abound. The Masseria is part of the old farm holding, full of character and atmosphere: The Reception area - Restaurant - Bar - Sitting area with reading and conversation rooms. Wherever you turn you will find quiet corners and delightful sights like the small rock and herb garden or the courtyard with table service amongst the jasmine and climbing roses. The rooms are positioned individually on the land, guaranteeing peace and privacy and together with the main building of the Masseria, evoke in the visitor the sensation of being in a small rural village. Most rooms are double and can be Standard or Superior according to size, comfort and outside space for private use. There are also triple and family rooms on two floors. In our comfortable candlelit dining-room, under a traditional roof made of plaster and cane, our guests can enjoy a discreet and friendly service, always attentive to individual requirements and special requests. In summer you can have breakfast outside on the terrace surrounded by the scents and colours of the countryside and in the evening you can dine in the cool of the olive trees immersed in the profound peace of the Iblea nights. Guests can relax and enjoy the large swimming pool and sports area surrounded by olive and carob trees with a sundeck and sun beds as well as a sports area with a tennis court and boules alley. ... more   less
