Booked several nights, but only stayed two. Arrived very late (21:00) and rushed to get some dinner. The staff gritted their teeth, but we got a meal. This hotel is located in a historic villa set back from the main road about ¼ mile. A really picturesque place with a lot of history. Rooms are large with both a shower... More

Staff was excellent Very friendly and eager to please. Nicely appointed room. Fairly comfortable bed (for europe) Breakfast was great with a choice to sit in a pretty courtyard. GPS will take you to the back entrance of the palace which the staff has tried to have changed. Go around to the main SS road on front. Cannot miss the... More

Historical hotel in a 300 year old villa/property. You enter central by an alley with amazing view of the property and the hills situated behind. Inside proper maintained in historical style. Rooms big with wooden furniture. Breakfast excellent. Possible to do walking and hike right near the hotel.

A magnificent hotel with lots of charm and great decor. Between the classic furnishing there are here and there a few designer chairs and designer lamps - succeeded. Very good breakfast, friendly service. Impressive entrance - (not for sports cars, bumps too high)

I loved this place! Though, be aware, the bed was quite hard (but I think that's the norm in Europe). Spotlessly clean though and we had a wonderful meal in the restaurant and breakfast the next morning did not disappoint. Slightly disappointed by the view (it overlooked the rooves) but we we only stayed for one night so I wasn't... More

The staff was very welcoming an helpful when we arrived. The rooms are comfortably furnished though the lighting could be improved. The hotel is know for weddings but we were given a room not facing the court yard and we did not hear anything. The view was not great but we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast buffet is... I can't believe there is a place like that and I could sleep here. Amazing property. Simply beautiful. It cost me 134 eur and it was a great experience. The staff is friendly, the rooms are huge, the bed cam accommodate 3-4 people. Breakfast was rich and tasty. My recommendation: have a glass of wine and enjoy the atmosphere

A very nice hotel with excellent service. We decided to stay here to see the nearby Cristo exhibit. It turned out we had a much better experience at the hotel that at the Cristo. Their front desk staff happily called us a taxi after explaining the large crowds at the Cristo. After waiting a few hours in those crowds, we... More
