The Mazaraki Guesthouse was a wonderful and relaxing place to stay. We had a very large room which was warm and comfortable. It included a sitting area with a fireplace, a small kitchenette, and a big comfortable king sized bed. While we were there, it was a little chilly outside so the staff came to our room, lit our fireplace,...

Mazaraki gueast house was really nice, probably one of the best guesthouses I have even stayed in! View to the Mystras castle and the city of Sparta, especially at night, from my room was fantastic! Breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning, in a basket, everything fresh and warm!! So good! Have breakfast at the balcony, such a...

This is not a restaurant but a guesthouse, also serving breakfast. Great place; feels like home. We had the room called "Olive", huge! (you cannot book this room via Booking.com; have to call the guest house or write an e-mail). approximately 60 m2. With open fire, terras, bath with jet stream, small kitchen, sitting area with sofa and hocker and...

We were staying in the suite and we have payed 150€ per day. The water was cold! The room was cold too! Outside it was snowing and we were freezing in the room we couldn't have a hot bath! And also they were unwilling to help! I would not recommend that to anyone!!! Unacceptable!!!

Considering all our guest's comments and reviews, we were sorry to read your comment. Including two big lies , your comment immediately loses its credibility. The room in which your father stayed (and not you yourself which you wrote above) costs 115 euro and not 150 euro.To verify this we can show the specific receipt to anyone is interested. We would...

This guest house is up to date and cleverly decorated. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Instead of breakfast a central room, guests order it the night before for delivery in your room at a specified time the next morning. The rooms are set up with a small kitchenette and table. The breakfast was good. The view is beautiful...

This is a very special place to stay set high in the hills overlooking Sparta. The rooms are lovely, with large comfortable beds. Breakfast is brought to the room in a basket from which you order the day before, and its delicious and plentiful. We ate this on our own private terrace and it was a lovely way to start...

Small beautiful hotel and very reasonable in the mountains above Sparti and very close to the sites. Big apartment sized room including kitchen. In the morning, you make your own coffee and the staff delivers the breakfast. We ate on the terrace. An easy walk uphill to a very nice restaurant for dinner. I highly recommend!

About 1km up the hill from the old Mystras site. The room was large and nicely done. The staff were welcoming. Breakfast was delivered to your room, it was good but perhaps not enough for some. There was a nice restaurant about 300 meters higher up on a side road.

Mazaraki is a special little hotel off the beaten track in the mountains near Mythras. It is a collection of small stone buildings (and a newer building next door) set in the hillside overlooking the valley of Sparta and the hilltop fortress of Mythras - if that view doesn't make you happy, nothing will! We stayed in Wheat and loved...
