This is a typical German decent kind of family owned Hotel and Restaurant. As Wiesentheid is country side with country style of an old German house and place, charming. The rooms do carry all you need. The only downside of this place is that is is located nearby the street where trucks and main traffic go through, so little noisy.... More

Nice calm hotel with nice breakfast. Rooms are basic. Price is high compared to what you get. Other hotels or guest houses in the area offer better price performance. Have a very nice restaurant. The whole area is too quiet so prepare what to do there before travelling.

Nice basic clean hotel. Rooms are basic. Breakfast is basic. Price is high compared to what you get. Restaurant is very nice for dinner. Hotel has wifi everywhere and you get nothing on Wednesday which is their day off. It is owned and managed by a nice family.

We stayed one night at this hotel in September 2014. Wiesenthheid is one of many small towns near the autobahn that cater for travellers passing through Germany. The hotel is well located in the centre and has plenty of parking space. We got a good room with plenty og space, clean and with good beds. No problem either with the... More

This is a very nice, historical family operated Hotel. My room was always clean, the furnitures maybe need an upgrade In the room, but not really a problem. The Staff were very nice with me, I had very lovely dinner In their restaurant. The Tv's and the channels need an upgrade. No international channels only an old small tv In... More

We have eaten at the restaurant for the third time over as many years. Today's visit was the least satisfactory. Several dishes were sold out at 18:00 - shortly after they opened to a small crowd. What we ordered took an hour for items that should have taken 10-15 minutes. Most disappointing was the taste; each dish was just bland... More
