In August 2016 I made a reservation for 2 nights at this hotel for me and the wife. I was offered a double room in the newer part of the hotel where we had stayed a few years back without issue. I was then emailed the confirmation for a double room in the new part of the building for a...

Positioned alongside the river, we could step outside the hotel into the old medieval town. The building incorporates the old town gate as it straddles across the street. The rooms were smartly furnished - good size and comfortable. We managed to find a space to park across the road. An inside garage parking facility was available nearby, but as we...

very friendly and helpfull staff, i liked the most location close to the river with underground parking facilities, and if you have the roof box there are about eight spaces that you can park just outside the underground car park-it is free until 08.00 in the morning, after this you have to pay about 50 cents per hour. Rooms are...

The rooms are large and, as one would expect from a modernised German hotel, clean and well furnished; the morning's breakfast was characteristically ample and varied. Our only misgivings were that (a) we had no Wi-Fi reception in our room and (b) the sheets were a mixture of synthetic and cotton fibres: acceptable under normal circumstances, but not on a...

Nice family hotel located right in the center of town, close to the river. Great food, although the service was a little slow - the staff of the hotel went out of its way to please. Great example of a family run hotel.

This is the second time I have stayed here and once again I can have no complaints! My room was spotlessly clean and very spacious with two televisions, sleeping area and seating area. I am aware that some people have mentioned small rooms, so it may be worth asking for a large room as they certainly have them. The breakfast...

We were greeted by friendly front desk staff who took care to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean (albeit small) with two twin beds together and a small bathroom (just a shower, no tub). The breakfast was typical of a European hotel but still had items more familiar to American travelers.

But it is not. The rooms (we had a comfort room in the old building) are spacious and clean. The location and parking are perfect. The restaurant is good. But the staff is careless, clueless and without passion for the trade. The manager looks ragged, angry and yells at the staff. He lights up his sigarette, next to your table...

The room sizes very so make sure you ask which room you get. My room was very small where you could barely turn around. Don't bother putting out the do not disturb sign - they will just ignore it. Bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner. They supply a tiny packet of something which may resemble soap/shampoo. I was here...

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. Rooms and the bath are large and super clean. My room had a walk in shower and a large tub and 2 twin beds. Plenty of closet space and a small desk, but bring you own iron because the rooms do not have them. When I checked in at 7am my room was...
