Lovely stay in this charming little hotel in Les Houches. This hotel was recommended by a friend and we weren’t disappointed. The room was warm and comfortable with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc, we stayed in a room suitable for 4 (twin beds and bunks) but if you had older children i think it would be a bit of a squash and the wardrobe is very small, ideal for two people though. (Just two of us) we had 2 glass bottles of fresh water (still and sparkling) each day, kettle with various teas and coffee inc decaf (no milk). The bathroom was clean and modern and there was a charging station with usb ports right next to the bed. Very useful, saves bringing converters.
Breakfast was plentiful and good value , really set us up for the day. We loved trying all the beautiful locally made jams, the fig and myrtle were firm favourites. The scrambled egg machine was a fun way to have fresh eggs made in seconds, loved it! Fresh bread, brioche and croissants.. what’s not to like! Dinner was also excellent. We had the terteflette and a calzone, this is a popular restaurant in the evening. On Monday evenings they are closed, the Ghandi Indian restaurant opposite was delicious, there are plenty of options within walking distance to choose from. The Wine Factory was another favourite.
There is a drying room at the entrance so you can safely leave your ski equipment at the end of the day.
The bar has some games and cards if you want to spend time out of the room in the evening.
The spa area is in the basement. There is a slight smell of damp but that us understandable given the wet nature of the area. The hot tub really helped ease stiff muscles after skiing.
The location was within easy access of the Prarion gondola which is where you buy or collect your lift pass. 10 mins on the free ski bus (you can use number 16 or number 1). Cafe opposite the bottom of the gondola has excellent sandwiches and hot food, grab something to take up with you if you want to save some cash. Food selection is a little expensive as you’d expect up top.
Bus stop is directly outside the hotel so no walking in boots! The other direction (bus #1) goes to Chamonix, bus is also free and takes about 20 mins. The bus stop is slightly obscured by bushes but it’s right there! We had fondue on the balcony of Rose Pont, a beautiful French restaurant with stunning views of the mountains and excellent food. Cozy blankets provided on the balcony. Well worth a stop here.
Will def be back, loved our stay at this charming place.

The Hotel Saint Antoine is gem of a hotel in the Les Houches village near Chamonix, the location of the ski bus stop outside the hotel is an advantage if you are travelling to Le Parion (ski lift) which takes 10 minutes or if you want to go to Chamonix this is 25 minutes to city center in the opposite direction. The hotel is well run with friendly staff in the busy restaurant, and the owners are always great for advice on where to go in the area or into Chamonix or to use the Ski Perf hire shop which gets you a discount as a hotel guest. The breakfast is simple, but tasty however the pizza and pasta are truly outstanding (calzone and Carbonara been our favorites) and you will be advised to book into the restaurant as it gets very busy (good sign) and it also does take-away if you are not stopping at the hotel. We stopped on the upper floor (209) and it was very quiet the room which is practical for a skiing trip with comfortable beds and small private bathroom. No lift. but then you leave your skis and boots in the downstairs drying room-access via keycard. The sauna and steam room are only open after 4:30pm but this is not an issue when you are getting back from the slopes. The jacuzzi is open earlier however and it’s a good way to ease those aching legs. We really enjoyed our time stopping here and would come back again, there is both parking and electric charge points outside, and with it been on the outskirts of les Houches very little noise even during the busy FEB half term week. Positives - Location - Staff - Food - Clean - Quiet Negatives - (None) but worth noting. Ski bus gets crowded as they have added a parking charge at the Les Houches slope, so more people are leaving the cars at the accommodation and getting the bus. Hope this helps you chose this hotel as location for your visit, we will certainly be back again and with the short transfer time from Geneva been only 1 hour its very convenient.

We stayed here one night while doing the Tour du Mont Blanc. The hotel was a delight, the host was kind and funny and attentive, the room was very comfortable and spotless with a bathroom that we really appreciated after our day of hiking! Dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffet was the best we’d had all week. We stayed in a room overlooking the road and were not troubled by noise even with the door open.

Louie, who’s the owner and lives on property, greets everyone with a smile and warm welcome. His knowledge of fine food and wine was an added bonus from his favorites in Chamonix to recommending a nice bottle of wine in the hotels very cozy bar. Merci!

We had a wonderful stay in this charming and friendly family run hotel. The room had a great view of Mont Blanc, located next to a ski bus stop and hire shops for easy access to winter sports. The bed was comfortable for a good nights sleep, the room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The buffet breakfast and dinner were delicious with lovely service. After a day on the slopes the spa was very welcome.

From the moment we arrived at the Saint Antoine, Louis, Antoinette and the whole team were so welcoming and helpful. Louis was on hand with any recommendations from restaurants, bars to the ski hire shop - Bertie in the ski hire shop was a great character! Louis upgraded our room on arrival and the next day upgraded our grown up family to a much larger room with a huge balcony. Every member of staff from housekeeping to the staff in the restaurant were fantastic. The restaurant serves lovely food and the pizzas and cheese fondue were brilliant. The bus stop is right outside the hotel so fantastic for all the ski areas and only 15 minutes into Chamonix. We loved coming back to use the hot tub, sauna and steam room after a day on the slopes. We wish you all the best for the future and thank you once again for making our holiday - we would not hesitate to book again. Thank you Louis and the team

Louis and the whole team here are exceptional. Outstanding service and I cannot recommend enough. Glenys in housekeeping was brilliant as are the young chap in the restaurant and the lovely kind lady at reception. Our car broke down just outside the entrance to the tunnel amd we were stranded for a few days, they dealt with us really well. The food is great, recommend burger and lots of locals order take out pizzas which are also great. There’s parking at front and back of hotel. Rooms at the front have balconies. There’s a storage room for skis and baggage that is secure by the front door. Highly recommend- do not hesitate to book. Thank you Louis and the team 🙏

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Pension Saint Antoine in Les Houches. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by a very unpleasant gentleman who seemed irritable and unprofessional. The room I was assigned was horrible and smelled like old carpet. Facilities were outdated, and Wi-Fi, advertised as available, was virtually non-existent. The bedding was uncomfortable, with sheets that seemed to have stains. In addition, noise from other rooms and hallways made sleeping almost impossible. Breakfast was a real joke, with poor quality produce and little choice. The dining room was noisy and unwelcoming, which only made the experience worse. In short, this Pension does not live up to its claims. I absolutely do not recommend the Inn Saint Antoine and I certainly will not return. It is better to look elsewhere to enjoy your stay in Les Houches.

Very welcome, we spent 3 days in this place. The quiet is there, the Pension access is very convenient, the rooms are very clean, the bedding is very comfortable and brand new. The restaurant is not outdone with impeccable service and good cuisine. Breakfast is very busy with sweet and savoury. In short a perfect stay
