Good location for visiting the old town of Parthenay, OK but rather basic room. Parking good off road at the back of the hotel. No food or drink available in the hotel when we were there but close to restaurants and bars in the town. Fine for an overnight stop.

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and the hotel is very central with free parking. Otherwise, pretty clean and basic hotel. The town felt like a bit of a ghost town. I know it is french holidays in August but there were many shops to let. A shame as some interesting history there.

We have stayed in this hotel regularly over several years en route between Tarn-et-Garonne and St Malo as it a convenient half way stopover. The staff are always welcoming and do everything to make your stay a pleasant one. The two star hotel, which is without a restaurant (but an excellent breakfast), has the basic necessities and there is a...

On first arrival in Parthenay, our first impression of the hotel was it looked a bit dated, and this was born out when we entered the hotel and more particularly our room. Which was clean-ish but ha not been hoovered and just generally looked like it was in need of modernising. However, one of the biggest surprises to us that were...

Parthenay is a small town in provincial France and we were staying a couple of days to rest up whilst touring. Your first problem here will be finding the private car park around back but once inside the place is just about ok but looking its age. There is nothing special about this place and it doesn't serve food, at...

Rather ugly exterior, but easy to find. The rooms was fine, with comfy bed and spotless linens. Wifi great. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and in the morning we had a pretty good breakfast. Buttery croissants, two kind baguettes ( white and nutty brown) jams, ham yogurts fruit, everything you need. Very good value .

We spent a night here in early July. It is a very standard hotel - the bedroom was OK, albeit with a good size bed. Breakfast was likewise fairly ordinary. Location in Parthenay is good - easy walk to the main parts of Parthenay, and a good car park at the rear of the hotel. Perfectly OK and reasonable value,...

All one needs after a long day in saddle is a beer, hotel, shower and meal. En route to Valencia by bike Parthenay we had two hotel choices. This being the only one with 3 rooms for 6 of us we rode up yet another hill. Was it worth it? The room was good the shower good the location opposite...

I have stayed three times at this hotel after finding it by accident on my first visit to Parthenay. It is a modern, medium sized hotel in the heart of the town. The reception is light and airy with a computer and internet access for the hotel's clients, there is a large, locked car park at the rear of the...

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the central bus/train station. I was following a Google map and got lost trying to find the hotel late in the evening in the dark. I found it after I reached a roundabout with a sign to the hotel. In the daylight the next day I got lost trying to get back...
