We booked in advance on the Internet, the hotel was easy to find by car and had excellent free parking opposite on the quay side. A friendly welcome and nice simple modern room on the top floor. Two very long flights of stairs and no lift, so not for anyone with mobility problems.

Stayed here a few years ago, the rooms were nice and modern, we had secure parking for our motorbikes. The food was stunning, all local as far as I'm aware. Planning to go back this year, again on a motorbiking trip round France.

Located in a former fortress overlooking the river, this has a variety of rooms, (our party had 4, all of which were perfectly adequate, and, as befits a Logis de France member, an excellent restaurant. The service was unobtrusive, but good.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the old building gives the place much character. Indeed, our bikes were housed in the cellar below the historic tower. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The wifi was good, albeit the access arrangements were somewhat complicated. I would stay here again.

Spacious, bright rooms overlooking the River Isle, next to the iconic Old Port Tower. The hotel has a fine restaurant, which sometimes serves outdoors beside the river. It's a peaceful spot in a busy town. We enjoyed staying here for 3 nights while exploring the surrounding wine country.

Stayed here and went to the restaurant for dinner. I'm the sort that's always leave the room with the lights on and thought that it would be safe. I had my light out when I return from dinner. I'm sure some foreign currencies is gone but I can't remember exactly how much, also some EUR. Just watch out for your... More

This is not a luxury hotel, but very clean and comfortable. It's one of the few hotels where I would actually have dinner, as they are focused on excellent cuisine. And by the way the portions are seriously large. But the location is also fantastic - a window overlooking the river, and the building adjoins an old round tower and... More

We didn't stay at this hotel, so this review is only about the restaurant. Great food, great wine (as you would expect given the area) and excellent value for money. We didn't book but ate early. Probably best to book as it got pretty full by the time we left.

I chose this hotel from the Logis de France guide which gives it three chimneys for the rooms and three casseroles for the restaurant. It is not really what I would call an hotel, it is a restaurant with rooms. I say this because when the restaurant is closed access to the bedrooms is through a door at the back... More

We arrived in Libourne late afternoon and found this hotel really easily - having that tower and being right next to the river is a big help. We parked right outside the hotel's door and there was also a lot more parking opposite next to the river. We were checked in and shown to our rooms by a really friendly... More
