The best guesthouse on Thoddoo Island!!! Friends, my family and I lived in Kingsway for an unforgettable 8 days, an excellent hotel, very attentive and friendly staff! Afif is an amazing manager, very kind, creative, cheerful, arranges entertainment every day for children and adults!! The hotel has the best chef on the island, his cooking is simply excellent!!! Every day we were taken to the beach and back, the room was cleaned, towels were changed, and in general it was very clean and deliciously homemade!!! We will definitely come back to Kingsway!!!

I visited 3 islands in Maldives, so far this is the best stay I had. The staff are very warm and friendly, they are like your family, anything you need, just ask and they will try their best or even walk the extra miles for you. Love the people there. Although it is not a beachfront resort ( none of them are due to the land they reserve for agriculture ) they do have a buggy to bring you around.
Super clean and comfortable room. They make up the room daily and there are free refillable water in the room.
The onsite restaurant is next to a nice garden, the manager has 2 pet parrots. If you are vegetarian, need not worry as the chef is vegetarian too, he cooked really delicious meals!
There are 2 floors up with stairs, if you do not wish to walk up the stairs, opt for the room on ground floor. May need to bring mosquito repellent with you as my friend got some bites.
What made this island different from others is that there are a lot of trees and plantation! You get the green (plants ) and the blue (sea) in a same location!

I had the pleasure to stay 8 nights at Kingsway Thoddoo. The room is clean, AC works well (I didn’t use much as just opening the balcony door was fine for fresh cool air) and hot water was always working great. Some islands in the Maldives the shower water can smell, here the water was perfect, no smell at all.
Drinking water is provided daily in the room and at meals and is served in glass bottles, so no plastic bottles, yippee.
I went snorkeling at the main bikini beach which is also the sunset beach and saw lots of turtles. It’s nice that there are two bikini beaches, the sunrise beach I didn’t try snorkeling but I recommend using this beach as it was always quieter.
I loved biking around, the island is full of vegetation and it’s beautiful riding around looking at all the greenery.
I ate so much fresh fruit, this made me happy. Most of all I loved how Afeef, Becs and Moddu became like my friends, they are a great team who are passionate about what they are doing.
Thoddoo is really a unique island as they don’t build on the beach, this means you can feel like you are on an uninhabited island while at the beach, it’s so natural.
There are many food options for all budgets, I like the food at Kingsway and would always take freshly made curries for dinner served with fresh fruit juice.
I miss the place!

Very high standard of rooms, owners cares about the guests, are always willing to help them. Good location, close to every important place on the Island. Breakfests were good too, many different types of food to choose.

We were welcomed by Mr Afeef, the General Manager of Kingsway and his team with a warm smiles. Upon our arrival, welcome drinks and cold towels were given to us. It was such a wonderful gesture. The fact that the Kurumbaas were chilled made it really refreshing since it was a unbelievably sunny that afternoon.
Later on we were introduced to his team and then escorted to our room, that was on the second floor of the guest house. The guest house was extremely beautiful, the work of interiors are so fine and so royal just like the name states, Kingsway.
Our room was spacious, well cleaned, smelled fresh and everything else we hoped for. The view out of the room was incredibly gorgeous, full of greenery from our neighborhood, betel leaf plants on countless number of trees and lots of palm trees swaying from far away. It was a breathtaking view. We loved it.
We usually took breakfast and lunch from Kingsway, Chef Becks made sure we were content with every meal. Continental or local, he cooked every meal with so many rich flavours. Also freshly made juices were served along with the meals, that was so good. We also loved the fruit platter he made for us after every meal. Since we love exploring food, we took all our dinners out.
We were given a buggy tour across Thoddoo by Mr Afeef himself, he showed us the beautiful beaches and the most tourist attraction road, Vaau Magu as well. Since bicycles were provided by Kingsway free of cost so we took bikes and went exploring the island on our own during our stay and we visited the local farms a couple of times. Unfortunately as this isn’t the season for most grown items, we were not able to see the agricultural side of Thoddoo like we expected. However we manage to see cucumbers, lettuce and papayas. It was so nice to see the scenery.
We totally loved the homely vibes at Kingsway and are very satisfied with the hospitality we’ve received during our stay. We look forward for another stay in the near future.

An outstanding hotel on Thoddoo, with manager Afeef who was always available to meet any needs and to take care of guests. Guests are served personalised tasty meals at an affordable price. Bicycles provided free for loan to explore the island anytime.

Kingswsy, Thoddoo is one of the best place I havrevisited so far and the guest care and attention from the teamis unbelievable. When guests arrive from the Airport they provide private buggy service and pi k them up separately. This makes very convenient for travellers. On departure too thiseill be provided. We were given free tour on arrival day to show the beach and some other places. Thoddoo is a big island with narrow roads. When it rains most of the roads are muddy and some parts art's slippery. (need to be careful), Hotel room is nice and clean. When we're there there were lots of kids and the place is like play ground. Most of the time we are on the beach so it would not effect us. The chef is good and knows international culinary. Lobsters and seafood available and reasonable price. If you need a private buggy any time it's possible and charge is 5 USD per trip. Bicycles also available but not in good conditions. Snorkeling equipments also there for free. We recommend this place and would love to come back soon.

This place is like a home for every visiting guests. The hosts are very kind and friendly. The food is amazing.we eat all our meals at the hotel.lots of seafood and beef steaks available. Beck's is a great chef. The most convenient thing in kingsway is transportation . The guests has many golf carts and they can drop your family to the beach for 5 dollars. We love the team there .

THE best trip I have ever been to! Kingsway Thoddoo is the best place to stay at when visiting Thoddoo! Mr. Afeef went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable and catered to every single request we made! The staff there were so helpful and so kid-friendly! We never had to worry about our kids wandering and getting lost when we stayed there. The food was sooo good, the guesthouse was breathtakingly beautiful and we took lots of buggy rides around the island, all thanks to Mr. Afeef for arranging everything! I would recommend Kingsway to everyone I know!

Kingsway is a great hotel. Large, clean rooms, nice open-air lobby that you can sit relax, read a book. Kate and Afeef make everyone feel welcome. Their energy and love make Kingsway way more than a hotel, it actually felt like home while I was there. There are bikes that you can borrow to go around the island. The hotel has a buggy always available to drive guests around the island and to the beach. The food is great and they prepare Maldivian dishes many times so that you can experience the local cuisine as well.
