The hotel is great and clean. It has an absolutely fantastic sandy courtyard with a boat in the middle. The courtyard is covered by the palms and Bougainvillea, which gives a necessary protection from direct sun. The staff is very friendly. We had half Board and both breakfasts and dinners were cooked by a special chef.
On the way to the closest bikini-beach, you have fruit market and some restraurants (we advise "Astro").
The beach is unique as it has two reefs very close to the shore, which allows even children to enjoy snorkelling as everything is filled with tropical fish (even 5 tortoises are included, but please do not touch them).
What makes this hotel special is the manager and his brothers, who organise everything in the best possible way. We strongly advise taking their excursions: 1. COMBO – (includes snorkelling with mantas, snorkelling with nanny sharks & stingrays, snorkelling near other reef and walking on the lone sand strip. Watch for the flying fish! 2. Sailing with dolphins in the evening – dolphins are riding along with the boat and jumping out of the water.

We had a pleasure to stay in Lagoon Villa in December 2024. And would totally recommend!❣️🌴🏝 The most important is - very friendly and helpful staff! Tasty food , big portion, variety. Clean rooms with air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. All you need is available in the room and on the territory ( coffee ☕️, tea, water for free, cards and darts to play). We lived on the 3rd floor and guys helped us to bring up and down our luggage 🧳. They always responded to all our requests, especially as one person had a special diet, so they created a special menu for her for the whole our stay. Very friendly and even family atmosphere. If you need the stuff for snorkeling, they have it in free use. All transfers to ferry were right on time. It's 10 min walking from the beach, so we really didn't use any bicycle or electric vehicles to get to the beach. They also have excursions if you are interested in it. We would come one more time to enjoy Thoddoo island exactly in Lagoon Villa 🏝🌴😍

We were staying in Lagoon Villa for our honeymoon (7days). Staff was very friendly and helpful right from the start. They carried our luggage into room and lunch was served right away. When we arrived into room there were two beautiful swans made from towels on our bed and many flower leaves (very romantic). Room was clean. Every day we were asked if we need cleaning or fresh towels. Our breakfasts and dinners were always well made and tasty. They also have bird pets and we miss them already. We have to specially thank Anil for his good work and helpfulness.
We hope to return some day.

Excellent from all perspectives and I'm glad my wife found this hotel. Before our arrival, Abdulla ensured that our transfer to Thoddoo island was as smooth as possible. We knew exactly to which counter to go and took the speedboat as planned. At the island's harbour, a car took us to the Lagoon Villa free of charge, and we've been welcomed with 2 coconut drinks. We found the rooms perfect, with a nice view on the balcony and greeneries and a much-helpful AC in the room. Regarding the service, both ladies working there, as well as Abdulla, were particularly responsive and attentive to our needs. Clearly 5* level service. Tip for future travellers: renting a bike will make your life significantly better, especially if it rains.

I stayed two weeks in this place and couldn't be happier. The guys were welcoming and very helpful and supportive in everything I needed. Even in my situation, when the flights to my destination country were cancelled and I had to stay longer unexpectedly. Additionally, it was one of few places, where the water was filtered, and not from plastic bottles. The rooms were always clean and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. What more to ask for!

Lagoon Villa hotel is a very lovely place for a vacation. Spacius room, comfortable bed, attached bathroom with a big shower place. Beautiful inner greenery, palm trees and such. Everything cleaned daily. We didn't get that stiff hotel wibe, it was more like home relaxed feeling. Breakfast and dinner - everything was tasty and served with a smile. We had nice Maldivian music played by the dinner and I still find myself humming the Chaka song after more than a week later. The owner and the staff are very friendly, kind and willing to help with anything or to organise a trip of your liking (swimming with mantas, sharks, etc...) or to give you guidelines if you want to explore the island on your own. They are willing to answer the questions about the island and Maldivian people. The island is beautiful, the colour of the sea is beyond imagination. For now, this was the best vacation ever. We would certainly go back again and we highly reccomend Lagoon Villa for your choice of stay in Thoddoo island.

Wonderful and friendly staff. You always have the feeling that someone is taking care of you. We traveled with three children and always felt welcome and safe. Nice and clean rooms, great food. Whatever we wanted, they organized for us. Superb! I highly recommend it!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. The location is great, close to both beaches. You can also rent bikes.
They gave us a tour of the island on the first day, the room was cleaned every day, very tasty and hearty breakfast. The hotel is clean.
Also at the hotel you can book a water excursion, we really enjoyed it.
We would definitely recommend this hotel, it was our first time and we were not disappointed.

I highly recommend! Friendly and helpful staff, great food, variety of offers including organized tours. Special thanks also to Anil and Oming. You can rent a motorbike or just a bike, local food in nearest restaurants, taki to the beach or just go walking.
