It was an awesome experience with manager Mr Najim.
He had booked speedboat for us from male airport.
Upon reaching Thoddoo, he had sent his people to pick us to the hotel, it was battery car.
When we arrived, we were welcomed with coconut.
Rooms were big, clean, had all modern ammenities , had private seating area outside and one of its kind of open bathroom.
We got bicycles for roaming in Thoddoo.
Manger has arranged snorkelling trip for us. He himself was snorkel guide. He tought us many things. We are very grateful to him.
In the night he taught us Maldivian game, it was new experience.
we were heading to Rasdhoo, so he came at 6 AM to drop us. Unfortunaltely ferry got cancelled but he talked with other boat and made us to Rasdhoo.
We highly recommend all tourists to stay in Thoddoo inn and enjoy the hospitality of Mr Najim .

1. We booked ahead, and several months the Thoddoo Inn host Naxim Saeed was 24 hours in
touch with us, answering any queries and helped to realize our preparation better.
2. We were supposed to stay in Male for 5 hours until the regular speedboat, but Naxim arranged
a Ramzu ferry waiting for us and other passengers from our flight. So we didn’t lose a minute in
Male! A Thoddoo Inn representative met us at the arrival hall and immeadiately passed our
luggage to the boat. 1h15min – and we were in Thoddoo!
3. Naxim Saeed arranged a car to meet us at the Thoddo port. The guest house is very close, about
5 min to drive.
4. Coco nuts waited for us at the reception – a nice welcome drink.
5. The room is huge, 25 sq m, it also boasts a private terrace with a garden, where they served us
all inclusive meals, and a large bathroom (8 sq m) with open shower, that is really impressive to
take, standing under the stars. Meanwhile all equipment is brand new, very modern and
qualitative.
6. The guest house rents bikes for free, that makes you feel very comfortable on the island: 6 min
to the bikini beach, 4 min to the port and main supermarket. Bikes are new and very beautiful –
pink and red for ladies��
7. They have small feet shower at the entrance.
8. ALL IS VERY CLEAN! Towels and beach towels are changed on demand. Cleaning the room is also
on demand. Anti-moskito spirals burn 24 hours in the garden, we didn’t have problems with
insects.
9. We asked for a kettle and cups in the room – all waited for us upon arrival.
10. Very good bed – both linen and matrass are absolutely convenient.
11. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! Chef Adam cooked for us individually, so the menu was different every
day, no meat, a lot of fruit and vegetables’ salads, fish, fresh juices, mostly rice. One day
Maldivian breakfast, the other – continental breakfast. We went fishing, after we had barbeque
and fish soup, that we enjoyed a lot.
12. The host owns a speedboat, that makes it easy to hold sea tours for guests. We liked night
fishing so much as well as manta ray hunt. The boat is very nice and comfortable, brand new
and the most white in the port��
13. Plenty of drinking water is given at any times, no need to buy anything extra.
14. The nicest surprise ever was a birthday candlelight dinner on the beach! Something special
about Maldives is its atmosphere that people create – no one is in a hurry, but they are always
in time. They treat their guests so tenderly, trying to guess the slightest change in the mood and
they succeed! This was a dream come true – a cake with my photo, the dishes we liked most of
all, the starry skies above, the quite waves near the table, the candles on the sand… Very
romantic!
15. The host grows his own papaya plantation, and he supplied us with several papayas to take
home – we need not go anywhere to buy fruit. Also we enjoyed his mangoes a lot.
16. On our last day we had to leave Thoddoo at 7 am – there is only 1 regular speedboat from the
island to Male. Not to spend the whole day in the city we decided to take a day trip to the
resort. Naxim called them and arranged where we meet at the airport, explained everything –
where to go, what to ask… To tell the truth we weren’t much impressed by the resort luxury.
The beach was worth than on Thoddoo, the underwater life is poor, the service was not as
personal as in Thoddoo Inn, though pretty nice… Next time in Maldives – only to Thoddoo Inn!

I highly recommend this apartment, the location is ideal. The house is perfectly situated in walking distance from nice beach, where you can do lots of water sports. Our house is nice. All the rooms have air conditioning, TV and our room has its own balcony. There is a nice terrace with table and chairs, so you can eat outside. Thanks to all the hotel staff for their hospitality. Thanks to our host for transfer and for congratulations on our 15th wedding anniversary.

The guesthouse is probably one of the furthest from the two bikini beaches, equally distant 15min walk. We were 10 guests and had only 5 bicycles available hence a lot of walking.
They speak very little English, they do not explain well the services they offer and it is a shame because they make very good food (you have to tell them in advance you want to have dinner within the facility). You have to ask them to have clean towels and have to leave the key of the room to get your room cleaned. It is the case of you get what you pay for.
If they explained things the experience would have been better and the rate higher.

I spent 10 days at Thoddo Inn last December.
the staff is really fantastic and helpful and ready to meet any need.
the holiday was very relaxing and I felt like home.
the only negative is that the food was too good and I put on two chilos! :)
we did some wonderful excursions.

Stayed here with my wife.
Very friendly and helpful staff especially Azim who looked after us so well.
Breakfast was delicious in the garden area and a great way to start the day.
Rooms are clean and adequate. Bathroom and shower are good.
The air con in the room is very high quality, cools the room in minutes.
Would recommend.

Our guide is there in airport to pick you from airport and help you to catch the speed boat.
we have speed boat at 11:00 AM and 16:00 PM every day. our departure time is 7:00 AM morning every day.
it will take 1 hour 20 minutes to reach the Thoddoo Island.
cost is $35.00 per person per one way

From Male to Thoddoo there are two speed boats one leaves from airport at 11:30 am and the other leaves to thoddoo at 16:00pm everyday accept Friday. This will cost $35 per adult per way, children below 2 years are free, up to 12 years $15. this is a 75 minutes journey.
From Thoddoo to Rasdhoo you can travel by local ferry this will costs you $5 to $10 per way. The ferry leaves from Thoddoo at 6:30am on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday and from Rasdhoo to Uklhas 13:00pm you can reach Ukulhas at 13:55pm, Ferry is available on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.
