Booked a 2 night stay and wasn't disappointed, far from it. Our accommodation was in one of the Courtyard bedrooms, number 43, it's a four poster bedroom and is featured in their Resort brochure. We had dinner on our first night in the Devon View restaurant and not only was dinner and the service very good but the views are...

Treatments: My mum and I booked a spa treatment with Denise Brend which we had before our afternoon tea. I had a pregnancy massage (at 36 weeks) and mum had a mini facial. The massage was the best massage I've had! It was so relaxing, Denise made me feel very reassured and relaxed & my mum also had a similar...

Staff very friendly and efficient. Got our room very early as using the facilities. Big room, well equipped. Very quiet.Food excellent. HIGHLIGHT - the best facial and Indian head massage I have ever had. Denise is outstanding. Wish I had had time for more sessions. The golf course was closed but the golf simulator was apparently a great substitute.

Lovely setting for a country break so it fits the bill from the start. Warm welcome from Reception also set the tone. Very spacious room (46) in one of the converted estate buildings a short walk from the main building. We were fine with this but if it had been tipping it down the charm may have worn off the...

We recently stayed at the Highbullen Hotel for two nights and came away wondering why we hadn't stayed there before; it was lovely. The hotel is set in beautiful, well-maintained grounds and there are wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Accommodation is either in the main hotel or in converted outbuildings; rooms are very comfortable, lovely and warm, well-furnished &...

Dear Sonia, Thank you for your detailed review. I was delighted to note your comments regarding your room, food and leisure facilities, but note your comments regarding the changing rooms and lockers. I can confirm that one key doesn't fit all. You are right about them being a little tired, and indeed they are currently closed for a couple of...

We stayed for the weekend and found the hotel quite excellent. Great views over the Devon countryside from most public rooms. A comfortable country house atmosphere, helpful staff and truly outstanding food. The tennis courts and swimming pool were modern and well kept. The golf course was a delight with the beautiful views at every turn. The beds were comfortable...

We recently stayed at this hotel for the first time. We were most impressed with the hotel, it had recently been refurbished and the bedrooms were gorgeous. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food was delicious with lots of choice and it's nice to have the informal dining of the cellar bar if...

We have been told that a great amount of money has been spent on the hotel . Unfortunately this has not made its way down to the pool and gym . The staff are lovely...

We stayed in the Loft Suite for one night. The suite is lovely lots of space, superbly designed lighting, tastefully furnished and decorated, and a big comfy bed. The hotel impressed us as well, a lovely old building which has been redecorated and furnished with real skill. Interesting art on the walls as well. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast,...
