Well appointed room with great outlook, clean and tidy. Staff were all very welcoming and although not booked directly (via Booking.com) made the check in and payment process very easy. Breakfast included in room was decent but could be a little more inclusive for the price.

We acknowledge we booked a cheaper room at $150 for an overnight stay enroute to our main Queenstown destination, but the room was too tiny for the price. It was clean, good shower etc, just tiny! No room to move. The experience checking in was average and the restaurant didn’t appeal, based on cold experience when we enquired about menu. We ate elsewhere and returned for a drink, but there was no ambience with bar shut down early (probably due to COVID level 2 and no other patrons). Overall we weren’t impressed and probably wouldn’t return.

Better training and communication required for front desk team - seemed unsure and confused. Didn’t have our booking initially and then seemed to find it. Didn’t know which room our friends were in, slow and somewhat frustrating. Not very personable or welcoming. Certainly not rude but just not very smiley.

This was our third visit in the space of 14 months and as enjoyable as our previous ones. All staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay and welcoming on arrival. We were especially grateful for the "welcome gifts" in our room. The grounds are spacious and there is ample free parking. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex - we connected with four appliances. Because of Covid restrictions all meals were served [no buffet] and restaurant service was very good. The breakfast menu was comprehensive ; the dinner one adequate but a bit restricted although the meals were fine and my steak done to perfection. There are a variety of room sizes in this hotel from 14 to 129 square metres so if space is an issue select carefully !

Unless you book one of the prestige rooms, don’t go to this hotel. The room was so small, I would say it was the size of our garage (including the bathroom). If you want to stay here pay the extra and get a suite. To be fair I did book this stay through Luxury Escapes but even so, I advise check the measurements of the room before booking-not value for money!
