We had an amazing stay in the Tui cottage. My husband and 1 yr old spent two nights here over Easter and enjoyed our stay so much, the room was the perfect size with plenty of room for the portacot. We had a lot of fun roaming the garden, watching the chickens and picking fruit from the trees and were...

We stayed at Clive Colonial Cottages for 2 nights while playing golf at Cape Kidnappers Golf course, which is a 10 minute drive away. The cottages are set back from the road, in a rural setting which was a nice break from staying in hotels in cities. Sandra was very helpful and nice, and she can arrange discounted tee times...

Thanks Laurel for taking the time to write a review on the cottages. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us and the challenge of the Cape Kidnappers Golf Course... an amazing place! We too love walking along the pathway with great views of Cape Kidnappers in one direction and Napier in the other. There's lots of interesting bird life...

Stayed here for the 3rd time in February and as always everything was just as it should be. The owners have worked very hard to get things right and they have succeeded. If you would rather opt for a little peace and quiet instead of the bustle of Napier then this is perfect accommodation with comfortable modern cottages and within...

It was delightful to have you back again Colin, and glad you enjoyed another stay with us. We do love our little quiet paradise here in East Clive away from the city hustle and bustle. And as you say, we are just an easy drive (just 10 minutes from Napier) from so many of the areas attractions. Thanks so much...

Husband and I stayed three nights in Tui Cottage over the Art Deco Weekend, and after the frenetic fun of Napier loved coming back to this delightful, peaceful cottage. I actually think the name - Clive Colonial Cottages - doesn't really do these three cottages justice. To me, that implies somewhere formal and perhaps quite grand. In fact, what you...

We loved our stay at Clive Cottages. We were warmly welcomed and provided with information on the area. The room was beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated with great facilities and comfy bed. Fresh eggs and toast for breakfast were a lovely touch. $20 bike hire a bonus, we cycled to local wineries. Highly recommend.

Very nice little cottage, very quiet, lovely garden and surroundings. Owners very friendly and helpful. We hired bikes one day (its adjacent to the coastal cycleway) and spent the rest of the time just mooching. Very nice garden with a mixture of sun and shade, whatever you want. Cottage well appointed and comfortable. Recommend very highly.
