Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I booked a Classic Queen room and stayed for three nights. It was a late check-in and I had a small issue getting access to the room, but it was eventually resolved (and the manager was very apologetic.)

The room itself was spacious but slightly unkept. There were a bit of stain on the carpet and some dust on the lamp shades and lighting. However, the bed was comfortable and in good condition.

I wanted to give this a higher star, and would've given it 3.5 if possible, as the housekeeping was regular and the general amenities were good.

Looking at the conditions in the images, I understand this hotel has suffered quite a bit under Victoria's various and repeated lockdowns, and their restaurant has been a casualty as a result.

I would not be against staying again.

We spent four nights in this hotel in one of their suites. The overall size of the place was satisfactory but the cleanliness could do with some work. I am petrified of spiders and there were webs all over the corners in the bedroom, in the windows and in the bathroom under the sink. In a country with more poisonous spiders than anywhere else in the world I found it unacceptable. The spa bath in the room was nice though. Another complaint would be that their check-out time is 10am when everywhere else we have ever stayed has been between 11am and 12pm.

We visited for nostalgic reasons, as it was a significant Wedding Anniversary and we had spent our Wedding Night here many years ago in the Bridal Suite. On that night we were promised champagne & chocolates with the Bridal Suite, which never arrived, despite our Best Man reminding Staff at the desk when he dropped us off.
On this occasion, I explained our celebration to the lady who took the booking, and she said she would make a note.
We have stayed at many other places for less significant Anniversaries and been left notes of congratulations, chocolates, bottles of wine, and/or drinks vouchers. But here, once again, nothing. So we didn't enter the restaurant/bar area at all.
On arrival we were told that we would need to give them an extra amount (more than the room cost) as a holding fee on our credit card for "up to 5 working days".... "in case you use the mini bar". But there was no mini bar or any extras available in the room at all. The cafe was closed for the weekend, but we were offered "cooked breakfasts" for $70, which we declined.
We were told that check out was 10 am, but when I queried whether that was fixed, we were offered an 11 am checkout at no extra cost.
The room was clean, but pretty much as it was when we were last there. Nostalgic, with a round bed and a tiled spa.
The staff were friendly. A minor maintenance issue was dealt with promptly.
Convenient location - close to the freeway and many eastern/south eastern suburbs. Traffic noise was audible, but didn't disturb our sleep.
Easy parking outside the door, but no lift and the stairs are steep & narrow.
Probably a good option for business travellers, but not geared towards Brides or Anniversaries.

Well what can I say, I stayed here earlier this month and it's not what is advertised. There is no bar, there is no restaurant, the pool is green and not for swimming, the sauna is locked, no cable TV and the internet might as well not be there either as it's extremely poor. Everything seems to be blamed on COVID but hey that's history. I would rate this a 2-Star at best. No bar or restaurant and no cutlery, plates, microwave, etc. So you will need to eat out every day. The TV is an old SD unit. The place is run down and poor. Room service, forget about it because there's nothing to offer!!

Hotel was very easy to find with access very close to the Freeway. Receptionist was very friendly and the room was perfect other than a bigger TV would have been nice (but that's just splitting hairs!). Slept well in a Level 1 room and traffic noise was not an issue. Would use again for sure.

*Service:
Friendly staff, Anwering all questions. Had a problem with light in the bath room. I complaned in the morning and in the evening it was fixed
*Room:
Simple rooms with all that is required but the last reneovation is long time ago and a motel like room is not very homelike. No heating in the bathroom so you get very fresh in the morning
WLAN provider has time and volume limits (2GB a week; 100MB/h) so I paid a lot for working online in the evenings.
*The hotel is located at the highway exit with an equal ambiente. There is a shopping centre near with some restaurants.
*Restaurant staff is very friendly and food is not bad.
* I think is ok for stay for 1 or 2 night but with nothing around but the shopping cnetre you need a cab for everything when comeing by plane without a rented car.

I had booked through last minute.com - my understanding was that it included breakfast - it did not - their response was that I should have booked direct through the hotel as I could have got a better rate - go figure - then to add insult to injury they hold back $100 on your credit card and reverse it after a week!!!!!!! disgusting really - 4.5 star? dirty curtains, spar was not too clean either, dingy - supposed to be an executive suite pfffft - dont waste your money!!!

Spa not working. I was in the end room closest to the highway so there was a lot of noise of trucks braking from about 3am. I had informed them that I was coeliac and the "gluten free" option that they had contained oats ( which contain gluten). From the website I was expecting more.

I’ve stayed here once a year for 5 years. Rooms are dated and old, the TV in every room I have stayed in is no bigger than a computer monitor at work, the sound is mono at best...... c’mon guys spend some $ and buy some cheap larger sized modern Chinese TV’s. Rooms are adequate and very clean. Bathroom fan is noisy when light is turned on. No bottle opener in room to open beers in fridge.... front desk had none nor bar. Ate at restaurant limited selection for dinner. Staff friendly always. Management please take note

Room is relatively large and very clean with a modernised large bathroom that looks like it was recently refurbished. A good range of free biscuits, teas, coffee and hot chocolate plus all the usual bathroom bits and pieces. Some road noise in the room at the far end and the aircon not tremendously effective. Don’t like the $100 security deposit after paying fully in advance. It takes one minute to hit your credit card and 5 days to get it back just as Australia has implemented instant bank transfers. I offered a cash deposit but they wouldn’t give me a receipt for it. They don’t trust me so why should I trust them?
All in all I’ll stay again mainly because of cleanliness and great location.
