Was in Australia for work and took a few days vacation. This B & B was excellent. The room was gorgeous, very clean and comfy. The view is incredible. Food was good. It's a little out of town, which is nice, since it feels very secluded. I drove to Springbrook and Binna Burra to go hiking and the drive wasn't...

Hi Julia So glad you enjoyed your stay, and choosing to explore the Gold Coast Hinterland rather than the Gold Coast Glitter Strip. (which is quite stunning to see as well). I believe it shows the wonderful diversity of SE Queensland. Thanks for choosing us instead:) Cheryl and I hope your work commitments went well and that, one day you...

This is quite possibly the nicest place we have ever stayed in. Situated in North Tamborine it offers complete tranquility and stunning views but is only a few minutes drive to attractions on the mountain and several cafes and restaurants. The hosts Richard and Cheryl are gracious and look after you well. Books, DVDs and games provided for your entertainment...

Hi Ian A belated thank you, for your lovely review of Avocado Sunset! We hope you enjoyed the rest of you visit to Australia and that Tamborine Mountain made your trip extra especially fantastic?! The best part of hosting a B&B is the people you meet and the friendships you make. Having guests return again is one of the greatest...

It's when you arrive at a place and immediately you have everything confirmed by the description. First impression is the view straight through the living area. Then to meet the hosts who are a delight and being lead to the room which is just luxury personified. Staying in the Safari Room, with a not too over the top theme, a...

My partner & I recently had a romantic couple of nights in the Safari Room which we would highly recommend. The views looking westwards from the room towards Beaudesert & Boonah are exceptional & are even better from the private balcony off the room. The breakfasts were superb & our hosts were warm, convivial & knowledgeable of the area. We...

We stayed in the Safari room for two nights over Easter. Cheryl and Richard are the most gracious hosts. Warm, accommodating and most knowledgeable about the area. The Safari room has magnificent views to the west and has everything that you could possibly need for a relaxing stay including a fire for cold winter nights. Avocado Sunset is located perfectly...

This B&B is simply outstanding! The room was impeccably decorated and spotless. Lovely big room - would certainly recommend the Oriental Suite. A simply gorgeous communal living space and a lovely deck to watch the sunset. A simply magnificent place to unwind and relax with two wonderful hosts. Would suit couples but would be great for a group to book...

Our second stay was even better than the first! This place just keeps getting better! Cheryl and Richard, our hosts, remembered and catered to Adam's chemical sensitivities and checked in on his dietary requirements. :) The Daintree room and view are as fabulous as we remembered. After a particularly stressful week at work, I'm now luxuriating in a big comfy...
